Harbor Freight 3 Point Quick Hitch on LS Tractor MT125 Tractor 3 pt hitch (PART 2). Learn more at ru-vid.com... I have always thought about buying the quick hitch from Harbor Freight, but never got around to it because my implements are all smaller. Well the new Titan Implement 4 foot rotary cutter is heavy and Harbor Freight sent me a 25% off coupon. I went ahead and bought one. Watch all three of the videos, as I go through the problems and advantages of Using the 3 point quick attach. It will not work on all 3 point equipment without modification or adapters.

Thanks Tony for this two part video. HF stuff is hard to beat for the price and especially these big steel items like this. It was interesting for me to see how this quick hitch worked. I have seen them used on other video's but never caught on to the idea. But you make a good point with your rotary cutter and for that implement alone it's a nice addition. I still don't have any use for my 3 point yet except for a weight carrier when I take off the hoe. But thanks for the explanation and demonstration of how these work. Really appreciate your time to get it all on video..

I like my harbor freight QH it works fine for me on all my implements except the tiller which is an offset tiller and my finish mower which is not quick hitch compatible anyway. as well as my bottom plow which I have never seen a QH compatible bottom plow nor my post hole digger. the rest fits right on although I don't always use it with those which are: York rake, box blade, road blade, brush hog, aerator, ballast box and garden hiller. sheesh I have a lot of implements! :) enjoyed the videos

Hey Tony I saw you had a comment on the tractor forum about the wheel bolts on the rear of your tractor. On my 125 is has tapered lug bolt not bolts and washers. There is a service bulliten to replace the tapered bolts with a heavier bolt.my dealer did it for me. And I finally got a kit from LS so I can put my 3 point hitch on with out taking off the rear wheels. Thought you would like to know.

nice video Tony! I bought the HF quick hitch for my old ford and love it. I did away with those two bolts on that top hook though, I bent a piece of round stock and drilled a hole and put a hitch pin in it. Lot's faster when I have to move that hook. I did have to modify a couple implements, but mine are all old and weren't set up for QH to start with. I'm looking at an LS Tractor, are you happy with yours?

Tony, did the HF HQ work on your box blade? Thanks for Part 2. I needed to see that. I didn't ever get the QH from HF b/c of all the horror stories folks on YT were talking about not fitting their implements. I'm thinking that's b/c their implements may not have been QH compatible in the first place. I have a rotary cutter and it is NOT QH compatible and it's a ball buster to manually connect that implement but once it's on, all is well. Thanks and thumbs up.

I see a HF QH in my future as soon as my new LS MT225E is delivered next week. Thanks for a great video! BTW- from watching other videos most other QH's on the market require the use of bushings on Cat 1 implements, so I don't think that's exclusive to the HF model. Liked & subbed! 👍

Hey Tony, not sure if someone else already mentioned it, but the locking arms do not need to be released to hook up. The tabs are spring loaded so that hookup does not require you to dismount larger tractors or reach over on smaller tractors like yours. The locking arms are only for dismounting the quick hitch.

I have a 60" rotary mower and a 60" finish mower and a carry all I use and with this hitch changes are a breeze. Before I got it I sometimes could spend an hour frigging to get the brush cutter on, Uneven ground, heavy attachment and tight space between the tractor and attachment made for some frustrating times. Now I switch between with out any thought, I just curse the PTO sometimes.

2 questions for you: 1) where did you find the sleeve adapters that allow the quick hitch to fit better? 2) Is there a replacement hook for the top of the Harbor Freight quitch? The spacing from the bolts to the center of the hook is 1.5" - most of my implements have structural bracing that needs the hook to be "deeper" - about 2.25" from the center of the bolts to the center of the hook. Any chance that this is available from somewhere?
