So this is what I am about to go through. Thanks for letting me watch....that was really helpful. I am not sure if that rim had a drop centre in the middle of the rim but I am going to focus on making sure the opposite side bead is going in there to make it easier for myself. That was a struggle at the end. I was worried about the sprocket attacking you though. Glad to see you weren't hurt. Wish me luck.
I set the wheel on a 30 gallon oil barrel I got free at an oil change place. Better than working on the floor. I also got a harbor freight bead breaker, but its nothing like this one. Mine's red, not real big and it was like 25 bucks. Has worked every time. I got a wheel balancer off ebay. Still getting the hang of it but it works.
I put mine under my trailer jack, and turn it down, but if you dont have a trailer, that would come in handy. Getting them off is the easy part, putting back on is where i have a problem. Itake mine to shop and let them do it.
