I so wanna go on one of your tours but I'm plum down here in South Central Kentucky. Also I work in a factory and hafta compete with other team members to get days off. Thank you guys for sharing your adventures with us.
@@mikespeaks6038 we’ve had folks come from Canada and New Hampshire to tour with us. I would recommend the WV tour if you’re inclined to do it. It’s mostly a weekend. Just the Thursday and Friday before that. If you have a trailer you could probably make it here in a day on each end. Anyway, we’d love to have you but understand if you can’t make it happen. Also, appreciate your support and interest.
While they are awesome on road and some light work off pavement. They are dangerous off-road. They are great for touring though. Hope to see some more adv content. Glad to have road with you in PA wish you had gotten the crash on film would've made great content.

I ride my tires until steel chords are showing they only last 6,000 to 10,000 miles on the rear and 18,000 on the front .. Cruiser tires last a lot longer than sport bike tires do because sport bike tires have a softer compound for better traction .
Good size bags. Meg, you need to put on a few kilos. Need to go to a few old European dinners. But seriously, I think you can get a good road trip stacked in those bags. You need to do a road trip bike packing video.
@@southhillfarm2795 I’ve lost a little on the Carnivore diet. I’m actually trying to gain right now. Great idea for a video. Maybe we’ll take you up on that.
Those don't look too bad. Tell your Shad guy that your endorsement deal worked because I would not have really considered them withouth seeing this video.
I did a lot of research on hard case luggage. not a lot available to a Yamaha FZ-07. I ended up going with Givi 35 Liter side cases and a 42 Liter Top case. Givi has the worst installation instructions in the Industry. I have GIVI Crash bars and Tank bag too. 1 year after I purchased my Givi hard cases, I found Shad. Givi can also make it a challenge to order the correct mounting brackets too .. Monkee or Mono Lock .. their names make no sense. I think Shad made a better deal for the cases and mounting brackets as a package. I think she Shad side cases were maybe 37 Liters. One test often used is: Can you fit one or two full faced Helmets in your hard cases? I can squeeze one small full faced Helmet in my side Givi side case but My Modular size small helmet it too wide to get the door closed. I like the short of shelf set up on the Shad. I also have soft bags that fit inside my side cases. I don't want a bag for my top case .. As it has tools .. lights .. tank bag covers , spare gloves , a first aid kit and Rox traps ect stored in it. The weight rating for the luggage brackets is very low. I have loaded double the weight they are rated for with no problems so far. When a Deer took me out my bike slid down the road at 50 MPH with the Givi side case and it just got scuffed up . I think that Shad manufacturers most of the OEM cases for Yamaha ..
