I’m a floor board and heel/toe shifter too! First bike, 2001 Honda Shadow 750 had pegs and I changed them to floorboards and h/t shifter. Never looked back and will always have that on any cruiser I own. Funny I test rode a BMW R18 tourer last week and it had both but it wasn’t lined up properly and was very awkward.
Your Audio was real good Meg. Floor boards with a heel toe shifter is my preference. Been riding heel/toe since the nineties. Stroked Sporty since the seventies.BSA and Norton's in the sixties. I would test drive the Diavel.
Another great video. That dealer had so much choice. I moved from Harvey to Ducati after getting on the Ducati Scrambler 1100 Special, that I think you were sat on. Our dealer a two for sale so my partner and I bought them and have so much fun. They are comfortable, fast and the retro look adds appeal. The Ducati Panigale V4S you also sat on is fun, fast (214bhp), but extremely safe to ride with the incredible electronics build it. Not so great for the long journeys. I bought one of these and used it throughout the summer. Now it’s put away as the wether gets colder. The white Panigale V2 is also great fun. It’s has loads of power, 155bhp, but safe to ride in all weathers. Try out the Ducati’s just for the experience, and hopefully make another video when doing it👍
I've ridden with stock pegs, forward controls, and floorboards, and I like floorboards the best. I habitually used the heel shifter on the first bike I had with floorboards ('97 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500), and I never use it on my current bike ('03 Suzuki Intruder 1500LC). No clue why I used one but not the other. 🤷😂
Test riding a Ducati Diavel would be cool. What would really be cool is to find some people that will let you ride anything Old School 90's and older. Like an Evo, Shovelhead, Panhead, etc to see what you think of the past and what some of us have ridden compared to modern tech. Even try learning to start with a kicker (yes she can guys - Hush Cállate) and experience the past. As for costumes, Frankenstein/Finkenstein and Bride of Frankenstein is my vote!
I’m glad your Getting the audio worked out I was able to hear you loud and clear the only thing that I would say is it would be nice to hear the bike as you ride but I am so happy that you’re getting the audio worked out ride safe and enjoy
BRRRRR It's cold out today and I'm freezing..... heavy leather jacket....flannel check....gloves check.....helmet check......spandex riding paints check.....hahaha. Another spectacular review, I learned a lot.
