Detecting in sub zero temperatures isn't easy in a Powerchair, it gets so cold because of not moving about. Today Jon wore an IHood heated vest, kindly sent to him by Ben ‪@Adventure-Outdoors‬, a huge thank you! It is an absolute game changer and meant he was warm and comfortable - even if I wasn't lol.

I can imagine this is quite hard during this type of weather, but I'm with you, why should your disability in this weather stop you from going out?! Kudos to you.

We didn't stay as long as normal, probably 2 hours and it was hard going for Wendy, there was a few targets that we left because the ground was solid and Wendy couldn't get the spade in and I didn't want her to hurt herself. The battery on the coil didn't seem bad, but we did have our normal slow connection problem that we always get with the 11" coil, it took about 3 or 4 minutes and we actually thought it wasn't going to connect. It only ever does it when the battery on the coil is fully charged and any other time it connects within 7-10 seconds. I have reported it to Marcus at Regtons but he doesn't seem interested in doing anything about it unless it stops connecting completely. We bought a 13" coil to see it that would be the same and that is perfect all the time, so it is definitely the 11" coil that is faulty.
