it even make me fall in love with Jinshi even more, I even waste 250pull for character and get her signature weapon. I gotta say bye bye now for changli.😂
I think so much "yapping" on The start of the quest was due to abby and to summarize what exactly happend with crownless and some litte time to clarify abby name and his character so yeah i think story was really good
I love how at the beginning they explain that Abby is most likely part of Rover and how they are connected. It gives players a bit of tolerance towards Abby's presence. Imagine if Abby was something Rover accidentally found while they were fishing.
I liked this story section very much, Kuro did a good job... And to be honest. I like the yapping.. For me, its opens up more develpoment into the characters, opens up more lore for the story development and even world building. If they yap for this to happen, then I wll sit thorught it. I know a bunch are complaining about this because you have the attention span of a bird. So please use the skip button provided by Kuro. People who are interest in the story and character development really like this type of stuff. I play for gameplay and story. My favourt part was when Jue was berating Jinhsi. He really did act like a dragon I expect from lore/games. He didnt hold back, and I get the sense he was testing her resolve. Its just my feeling, but he really does care for Jinhsi. I felt I could read between the lines here. He was trying to scare her off not wanting her to die. Kuro did an awesome job with Jue.. And well I susspected Jue was the shephards from scars story, but I felt like this proved me wrong. Cant find any fault with his actions this part of the story. I have to reevulated Scars story and put things together again. Some really good info was dropped on Rover too. Some that even supported my thery on her. One key point, was he gave her the option that she could go back to sleep if she wanted. Meaning, that her hybination is why she dissappears during history. Does she wake up without memory ? Some more questions, but we're getting somehwere. And Jinhsi being a unliving child once and saved, is kinda touching. Dont know how to explain it
he's way better than paimon, because he only comes out when you call for him and mostly just sleeps, and doesn't repeat whats happening in a high pitched voice constantly. Paimon is one of the reasons I dont want to finish genshins story even though I actually do like the story. the execution is often just poor. I agree with connor that the abby intro scene at the restaurant was a bit too long though
Story is nice and well done im woried about the lack of events which i completed in 3 days playing casually and exploring mt.firmament lol and i gotta say i enjoyed exploring it.Though the new update introduced new preformance graphical bugs like motion blur being enabled automaticly lol
Lack of events is......Well this is new game. Atleast I can do dailies, spend waveplate and move on, just taking some minutes of my time is good, if I want to explore its always on weekend 1-2 hour do, I say this game is solid 😊
Fair take. I like 1.1 story as well, but I still rate it 7.5/10, or 8/10 at most. I found the last battle itself was a bit lackluster compared to the battle against Dreamless, since the cinematic touches on the latter were insanely good! I really wish Kuro can include more cinematic moments in 1.1 fight, but at least I'm more emotionally invested this time.
The story is differently getting better which is a good sign as while the begging was a bit mid if not bit below mid the rest and been good to amazing so far
Yeah, that pacing!! Kuro on combat 👌👌👌.. Kuro on their ability to deliver a story 😓 I truly hope they can iron that out in the future. Those long story sequences is what truly killed Genshin for me, seeing it in WuWa is discouraging.
People probably won't have time to care about what the story is when they are in an intense real time boss fight. While HSR is turn based so they can tie the narrative into the boss fight fairly easy.
>says there's probably gonna be some minor spoilers >literally summarizes the whole story beat for beat not complaining, i love detailed reviews. just got a lil chuckle 😂 great video 👍 but yeah, 7/10 for me too. the story was a bit 'too' straightforward for me. a very easy "this is happening. we need to do this." and then they just do it. the stakes for failure were too high for me to be convinced that something 'could' actually go wrong. the narrative wasn't able to strongly engage me into the struggle that Jinhsi might've faced to take over the temporal mandate. other than that, there was a bit lacking of twists and turns e.g. maybe the fractsidus could've been more involved in our playthrough to potentially sabotage our efforts perhaps? all the cutscenes were 10/10 tho 👌 also, it occurred to me this patch that Calcharo is the only 5 star who wasn't involved in any part of the story whatsoever! 😭 😭 😭
