I like the 64 hand. You block a set of sixes. And have equity (two pair, trips, back door flush and straight outs) against over pairs like TT or 99 that the button could have. The button has a wide range too and will snap call with a combo draw (which you could be ahead of) or sets (for which you might have straight and flush outs against).

Also good turn bet when the Ace comes. Doesn't complete draws, it's better for you, and you found out where you were at real quick lol. I always have a hard time continuing there but there's way too many draws to check

QJ hand, definitely bet the turn. I think in low stakes, you can just bet-fold a lot. Very few people are going to x/r there with a bluff on QJA5, they would have to be bluffing with like QT/T9/AT, and people just don't find bluffs like that at low stakes vs the pre flop raiser. I also think A is a good card to keep betting, since if they have an A high flush draw, they will almost certainly pay off another bet, and there are a lot of draws out there. Bet-folding prints at low stakes.

I agree with the qj hand. Always good to bet your hands and let them tell you otherwise as to who is ahead!

They are underbluffing in these games so just bet folding always best option

Definitely bet turn in these spots. As a matter of fact, you can go to a larger size too, putting under-repped hands like A10s, AJ,s KQs in a tough spot.

14:21 I actually thought about jamming as an exploit because overcards are a real problem + 8 6 is very much a hand 🖐️

@@MacksBet28 yea he’s not a +ev player. You are never making money when you don’t give the opps a chance to call with terrible pot odds to draw to a flush or a straight. Even if he 4x the pot and you were on a straight or flush draw it’s still bad odds to call overall but jamming literally gets nothing done. Even scared away Kings… its just not the right play

@@prodigyzeusthepitbull9570 I'm very thankful for it. But in his defense he's new to poker and learning. Hes gonna be a crusher once he learns how to play live poker. Online is more theory based and his jam is ok in that spot. But live absolutely not. Cause 1/3 is so underbluffed you can make exploitative folds when people put150 bbs in the pot

Great lay down bro. Best case scenario they have KQ diamonds and you're actually a dog. Most guys, including me if I'm tilted, just flick in the call. Your game is definitely improving.

So, I'm curious. . . Did your boy Aiden tell you or show you he had Jacks? I mean people tell stories, especially at a poker table lol. Personally, when I have Aces or Kings at the table and someone before me raises in a 1/2 or 1/3 game. . . I am all in period! I am Ok with only winning what the initial raiser and any callers put in the pot prior to any flop! But that is me and in your scenario. . . I would of called and made him kill me and show me he had the set.
@MacksBet28

Lol he had top set bro. And thats an interesting way to play. Not too theory optimal but i can see the merits

@@MacksBet28 Ok I didn't see it, so I am not just willing to believe it, but thats me. I do not follow what people like to call poker etiquette, equity and or value lol. I think it makes people to predictable once you play with them a few times. I might limp with Aces and bet 37 with a pair of 3's. . . and reverse it the next time around. always change the way you play. . . I ain't no professional or anything nor do I claim to be, but I win just as much as I lose. But I never set out to be a poker player full time either. But from playing for years I have learned some valuable lessons. . . Like the bluff only works when the person you are bluffing doesn't have anything worth while. And a lot of times when you have Aces, Kings, or Queens and bet them if no one at the table has anything. . . No one will call a 15$ dollar bet at a 1/2 or 1/3 table. And my perspective is from a 1/2 table at Hollywood Casino here in Columbus Ohio!
@MacksBet28
@MacksBet28 3 месяца назад
@@BrotherLove3 I understand that. And in general most poker players lie. But they lie very often with their words. But not with their chips. When people are at low stakes they play so honestly that you have to belive whe. They putting tons of money in they pot they have it wayyyy more than they dont
@BrotherLove3

@@MacksBet28 In general most people lie lol. . . A bluff is not a lie, but a representation that you have something better than you actually do! Me, I bet on my cards and the board period. I'm not going to try and guess what someone else has and usually don't care. Cause in the end you are going to win, lose are draw! As I said all I have played is 1/2 here in Columbus and down in Cincy and I have seen plenty of dudes push in a lot of money with nothing. I have seen all kinds of different players that play different ways.

@@MacksBet28 you're definitely supposed to fold in that spot. 1/3 players are not finding bluffs there like a solver, and even if they know they should they are usually on small enough bankrolls that they get scared to make high variance bluffs like that. He has it 100% of the time at a 1/3 game. You have near 0 equity in reality no matter what theory says.
