SAT reading section might be one of the hardest sections to teach and prepare for as the skills required for the SAT preparation develop over time and are hard to master in 2 - 3 months. What I recommend instead is to start early and work on your reading skills 1 - 2 years before the SAT test.
If you don't have that kind to time, try improving your reading skills by reading Erica Meltzer's Book
💌amzn.to/2U4cBXY
You can also work on your reading diet now. Even if you just have 2 months before the test.
Each section on the reading test has specific recommendations and tips. I combined the most effective resources for each section below:

I just realize every month is different when taking the SAT the may 4th test gonna be difficult so if i get half of it right i will surpass my goal but if i get half right for the June or July test i will meet barely meet the goal because the June SAT is easier than the may one. Sat switch up the difficulty of each test for each month. The more u get right on the hard one the higher your score is , if i get the same amount of answers right on the June one as i did with the may , the scores wouldn't be the similar because the difference of the difficulty of each test.

Block off two hours: do a full reading section - timed. Check our answers. Spend time understanding your mistakes, why the answer you picked in 100% WRONG and why the right answer 100%. Is it a restatement or demonstration. Do it for every single error. You will get better.

@KatyaTutorSAT
@KatyaTutorSAT 3 года назад
Hey, Priyansh. You need to work on your verbal as a whole. I like "attacking" history passages in 11 minutes and 30 seconds. If I give myself less time, I am a lot more focused as a result. Additionally, try to master vocabulary as you are working on your history passages. Appreciate longer sentences and complex phrases.

Mir, this is such a great question and an aspiration. Please give me some background on your reading ability, so that I don’t just give you some generic advice like ‘read more’;) are you a native English speaker? What is your current reading ability? Dis tube your comprehension level of fiction and non-fiction text? What’s your reading rate/speed? How’s your reading stamina?
@wildcardcentral2782
@wildcardcentral2782 4 года назад
@@KatyaTutorSAT Okay well I am a native English speaker although when it come to reading fast I am not the fastest person. I can read a regular SAT passage and retain most of the information within 5-6 mins but no matter how well I read that passage I would still need to go back and look at the text for reference and even then very little improvement is ever shown.

When studying for the sat do you focus one section at a time or not? (I mean like for example mastering math till you understand every concept then move on to next section)
@KatyaTutorSAT
@KatyaTutorSAT 5 лет назад
Hey there! great question! I never recommend working on math and waiting until you master it and then moving on to the next one. It may seem intuitive, but it's a false approach. You need to be working on all 3 skills in parallel. One day - reading; one day - math; one day - grammar. Constantly reviewing all 3 sections.

To prevent wasting time, decide what you want to learn by the end of each study session. It's not about how long you study, but what you've mastered. For example: I am going to learn all I need to know about exponents for SAT math in the next hour. Hope that helps!
