finally a workout that you can see is clearly hard but pushing yourself even though it hurts you get it done and u have results. no matter the color or race... awesome video.. make me wanna try it out a few times.. great job guys keep it 👆

Love this tabata combo and will give it a go and share as well! Love those hand stand kick ups! All 4 moves are tough and anyone who tries this needs to understand with Tabata you are pushing your absolute MAX during those 20 seconds. If you can have a convo and are not breathless afterwards, you are not working hard enough. It may look 'easy' to some, but believe me this is tough. Great job BC!

Where is all this hate coming from? Looks like an awesome workout for some hiit training. It's like the Insanity workouts, dynamic explosive movements. Half of you haters can't get anywhere close to this.

I repeat this every week or alternate week. I keep coming back to this workout as it packs a lot of punch for such a short workout. I think spending time in the Gym is useless, as most people keep walking around or looking at themselves in the mirror without much intensity. Doing such short but intense workouts is the way to go for people who are busy living a full life.

I can do it and it's actually pretty easy Tho i practice calisthenics and parkour along with powerbuilding so it may not be a fair comparison also considering i must weigh less than these guys as well But it just doesn't seem to work well on endurance Cardio? Yes but just 4 minutes of excercise? Not making it pretty difficult It might be for weaker people or non trainers so i might be exaggerating when i say that upper level trains should be able to do this for atleast 15 minutes

Tabata is an ass-kicker by itself much less at the end of the workout. And, those were some intense bodyweight exercises to take on too. Anybody hating on this man for getting tired or whatever needs to put up or shut up and give it a shot yourself. BBC could just cherry-pick clips showing him at his strongest but he's real. Shows that there is always another level to reach for.

Alright, I've had enough. After doing this workout at least once a week for the last couple months and constantly seeing all the ridiculous comments (mostly from people who haven't even done the workout) it's time to clear the air on this shit. This is a TRUE Tabata workout (meaning Hajime Tabata would put his stamp of approval on it), most of what you see on youtube is not (including Fitness Blender). Tabata workouts are designed to be done at 100% so that your VO2 max is brought to its absolute threshold. That means this workout is as hard as you want to make it. If you're not pushing it as hard as you absolutely can (that means lying on the ground gasping for breath on the 10 second breaks), then you're not doing it right. If you DO push it that hard, this workout quite literally should be the hardest workout ever because you're pushing yourself as hard as you possibly can in the shortest amount of time humanly possible. If you're not doing that, then you're pussing out and the title of the video clearly doesn't apply to you're personal pussed-out version of it because you didn't do it right. Any TRUE Tabata workout is the same. Sure, Brandon Carter made a bold claim saying it's the hardest workout ever and he probably did it for click bait, but that doesn't change the fact that you will not find a harder type of workout than this. Tabata is f-ing ridiculously hard as long as you put the right exercises into it, which Brandon Carter did. And for all you idiots that keep saying Fitness Blender workouts are harder, shut the F up. I've done nearly all of Fitness Blender's workouts and they are not harder than this. Fitness Blender doesn't do true Tabata workouts, they do toned down versions of Tabata with loads of rest time, that is not Tabata and it is not at as hard. Point is, if you push yourself during this workout as hard as you possibly can, then this should be the hardest workout ever for you. It's all about personal effort.

The other time I did it after eating a meal and nearly puked. These fat asses think too much of themselves after completing some "ab tabata workouts" or those walk in the park Fitness Blender HIIT workouts

Yo, Big B, this shit that you are doing is AMAZING! Before every workout i come to one of your "hand on training sessions" and watch and memorize. Mostly i just follow along and pause when i need a brake, but i always finish! One month in, lost 23 pounds in 3 weeks doing these every other day. Not only is the workout bad-ass, but the HIIT timer and "follow along style" is fantastic! Props, big guy, please make one every week with different combos. I see those shreds and think "that's going to be me in a while." You are the best inspiration and trainer i have ever had, bro! Keep it up man! Thanks, from the bottom of my heart!

6pm yesterday - this looks like a nice fun little workout. I run staircases and do KB swings. I'll be fine. 6.15pm - warmed up, jumped rope, let's hit it. 6.16pm - I am a warrior god!!! 6.20pm - I am a new born foal, my legs aren't working, what kind of torture is this? Friggn jump squats... This kicked my ass HARD. Love it!

Some people fall into the trap of not being able to imagine themselves doing something that seems hard, but we should all know that unfortunately something we cannot imagine cannot be done, or in a more positive way, we can do anything if we imagine ourselves doing it.

One thing that's important to understand: it's better to do a high intensity workout with less volume than to do a moderate intensity workout with high volume. For example, it's better to do 150 push-ups in 5 min than it is to do 300 pushups in 30 min. Push yourself till your insides feel like there cooking and your heart wants to explode. This may not be best if you're wanting to pack on size but if you're wanting to be ready for a street fight, this is the way to go.

One look at either of these guys and it's obvious a ton of work was put in before this video was even made. Armchair critics on RU-vid tend to be the same goofs afraid to take their shirt off at the beach, and/or the same goofs NOT at the gym or outside running at 6 AM. I crush Tabatas several times a week. I remember the first week, years ago, I couldn't do one round. After 3 months, I was doing 40 minutes straight; lost almost 25 pounds in 3 months, never ran once, ate like a dirty pig too.

Just did this, wasn't as intense as I thought it would be to be honest, but def harder when you have as much muscle as Brandon. If anyone wants to really die, try doing 4x1 minute burpees at full intensity, 30 seconds rest in between. May the force be with you.

Guys!! Great that you show how tough such a ' simple' workout can be and how you struggle at the end. Instead of many videos on the net in which you only see how fit every one is and as if you never get tired. Having to do two plyo leg exercises is tough!

I did fitness blender but didnt feel i worked hard enough, so i now do Mike Chang 15 minute hiit and Brandon Carter's stuff. I'm knackered afterwards but it has worked for me. Each to their own. I prefer to be utterly knackered when i finish not just panting

Unless y'all respond back with a video of your own doing the same exact workout and killed it, y'all shouldn't be talking cuz half of y'all probably have NO IDEA how intense this is. these would not even survive 3x3 min thai pad work. having abs dont mean you are fit, people in mma or muay thai do these as warm up than another hours of hard training on pads bags and sparring.. all you have is show off not fitness

gigglyfitzgirl well, its not my job to remove your doubts, i also find it funny how you are not capable of doing these workouts but somehow feel you are capable of judging their intensity by the looks of it. Looks are not deceiving. If you look like strenght, you most likely are strong. If you have arms like twigs, youre most likely not very strong.
