John, part of resurrecting Silverback is also making her look awesome and your decision to go with the empire collection was absolutely 💯 correct. Absolutely love the new mirrors and primarily cover. My CVO defiance grips are purple now also. I think it might be due to UV rays. Sucks to see you have to swap out that sweet derby cover. Arlen Ness has a matching cover also to your breather. I use that one and the matching fuel door. Bike is looking killer, congrats on how it turned out

I look forward to the video on your auto train experience from Lorton to Sanford. My family and I have take. It before but with our family vehicle, so I had no concerns about the vehicle. The pucker factor goes up when it is your ride at stake. If you have a few extra minutes on the ride down, consider passing by (if not stopping) George Washington’s Mount Vernon estate off of the GW parkway (and less than 15 minutes from picking up your auto train. Both locations are right off of US 1. Just a thought. Ride and be safe.

the derby cover turn color probably cause it was anodized. I had couple items turn from black to purplish and had nothing to do with heat.

Bike looks good. Primary cover kinda stands out against all the other basic black items. Should improve and blend better after you install the floorboards and shifter peg.

I believe you can take a good polish and buff out the Air Force primary cover. But I really like the new look. BTW what brand of lift are you using?

Hey John if you put that shift peg up for sale when you swap the shifter out ill dibs that from you! I still have the stock rubber peg and it ripped already on the edge
