I like the two tone paint color but could care less about the fringe. I liked last years anniversary colors on the Heritage metal. I do wish they had more two tone paint combinations for the regular tour line up and perhaps if we see new Limiteds I might get my wish.
It looks cool, but they haven’t sold at the dealerships around me. There really isn’t any reason for the premium price. It’s just a heritage with a different paint job.
Hey Man Mountain Mike, great review here. IMO, it’s a heritage with retro parts stuck on it. It’s not worth the extra bank for the Icon model. For that much money, I could install a cam, better exhaust & an better air cleaner on a new Heritage. Great points on the Sportster a/k/a “peanut “ not being a good starter bike. That’s what I got for you today. Stay safe, peace out and y’all vote for who will put his foot on the throat of the EPA.
@@cornbread8246 I think today's engineer can design a head to flow way better. It ain't impossible with today's technology. Harley needs to stop cutting corners. The early twin cams had problems. Harley said, they fix it. Harleys breather bolts a joke. Oil going into intake. My new twin cam had oil in air filter and on rear jug. Harley said normal. I got friends their M8 do the same. I won't but a new Harley or Indian only used. Used Japanese bikes are dirt cheap than a used Harley. Used Harley's will becoming down with less riders. Each year there are less people getting into motorcycling. Babyboomers are not buying, some hanging it up. For me I'll keep riding every if I have to down size. Good smaller bikes used Star 950, Vulcan 900, Sportster 1200, Scout 1133. The new Scout 1200 or 1250 not sure. The new Sportster 1250 in couple of years be good bike. I wish Vulcan had a 1250 or 1300.
Let me guess, it rides just like a Heritage Softail. If Harley really wanted an icon model, we would see a Springer. I also think this is too big and heavy of a bike for a single front rotor.
Good video shots, and to me the bike looks good, not great. The coolaid colored windshield would be the first to go, and I noticed the saddle bags vibrate way too much on bumps.. Amazing that they still used natural color aluminum fork lowers on this "special" bike
I really like the look of it. I, however, would never buy this. I’m a practical kind of person. I only buy what I can ride. I ride a whole lot, averaging over 26k miles per year. So, I would not be in the target range of buyers for this. I do like the look though.
