I installed a set of V&H True Duals with fishtail tips on my Roadking. It took more time and effort to remove the stock system than to install the V&H system.
Unc, your bike, your happiness, it simply doesn't matter what others like when you make yourself happy...Me personally have never been a huge fan of fishtails, but I'll be the first to admit, they look great on your King...Hope Ya'll Have Happy New Year Bro.
There's a certain satisfaction in doing your own modifications. I put Bossani 33" fishtail, true duals on my 2023 Heritage softail classic and absolutely love the sound!
The Sherpa blanket makes the style along with a whip. Ignore the noise, you will get more compliments than the noice. Trust me, I get lots of compliments about my bike & people taking pictures.
FYI. All the info I have seen they say 2 into 2 is the best for performance in the sense of breathability and evacuating the exhaust and 2 into 1 is next in performance however it's not a lot of difference. Love the color if your bike. I had a 2016 road glide with a similar color. Ride hard be safe .
Question for uncle Bogator: please help me to understand why Harley Davidson has decided to do away with the Road King Standard for 2024??? I always thought if I bought new, that’d be the bike. Now, a touring bike is at least ~$30K? WTF?

You can absolutely modify a Harley to be a rocket if you are so inclined too. All I did to my 2020 Road Glide was add a Stage I SE tuner, big breather air filter, and Cobra Neighbor Hater slipons. With just those alone that thing was a beast! Imagine a full Stage 4!
It already has a stage 1 tune on it. That’s a very generic “high flow exhaust high flow air cleaner” setting that “works.” I will get it tuned better soon but for now it’s ok
Looks bad ass man. Theyll get more throaty when they get some carbon build up.... should get 525 fueling cams, they run good in the twin cams... O ps, dont remove the baffles man,.....you will loose power. Hey i put 4 grand i my 03 anniversary king 3 years ago and it run so fucking hot you could fry an egg on the rocker covers. 10.8-1 compression. And it was done in a good shop... Cams and plate and pump is all im doin...
@UncleBogator ...if your runout is 3 thou or less, id do gear drive all day long, they say it can be 5 or less, but I wouldn't do it either way unless I had the crank trued and welded. That's my next move...sns crank and gear drive cams, no more tensioner worries.
