Reactions of North Korean audiences on this performance were surely different compared to others in the concert. This is North Korean song. They knew and had been very familiar with this song. Of course they were very glad that a singer from the south sang this song very beautifully. Good job Seohyun!!!
I saw the concert and it was alright I guess. They had a lot of rock and kpop which I don't think was a very good idea. This performance is one of the few that will be remembered by the audience. A classy song sung by, arguably, the epitome of south korean beauty.
Obnoxious, but Consistent YB also got great reactions in my opinion. A lot of the songs were also sad songs, so you can't expect much reaction, especially since the people were confronted to this style of music for the first time.
they can't cheer and sing the songs that are not from NK,that's a rule. Seohyun sang a song from NK so that's why they gave reaction only to her.. also he deserve it, she was sick and still looked and sounded grrat

For me it's really not about how well she sang. It's about her sincerity in wanting to be part of this cultural exchange occasion. The way she handled everything from relations with the sk and nk performers, the interviews etc, really showed her maturity and good heart. She's really beautiful inside out. At least for me, it seems like that.
Jonathan Megan she was the perfect member out of all girls in SNSD to be the North -South Korean kpop idol diplomat. She’s naturally formal, very respectful, well postured and really musically well rounded. I could imagine Hyoyeon feeling extremely awkward if she had to be a Kpop representative...I don’t think her body popping and locking moves would be well received....

in my opinion this type of k-music is more fitting to be exhibited in pyeongyang. you see the north korean audience reacted so well and enjoyed it better. it was a right decision to bring seohyun there

Most of the new kpoppers say this era is big and get more sales and so on. Little did they know, 1st and 2nd generation kpop idols are making a path for 3rd generation to be successful. They sometimes compared their groups stan to the legend groups. See right now this video is an example for a legend girl group only which is maknae of girls Generation Seohyun. Given the title as icon for cultural exchange in both korea.

Stan her. You won't regret! She's indeed multi-talented and smart. Aside from being a lead singer in SNSD back then, she can play various instruments, (but her forte is piano and guitar) and she's a musical actress, too.
North Korean audiences are fairly well known to be quite respectful and staid (not too much clapping or expression). But you can really tell that they LOVED Seohyun's performance of "Blue Willow" at the April 2018 "Spring is Coming" concert in Pyongyang. Four clapping breaks and a very loud applause with outstretched hands at the end.

To Solehah Sohae, mbc is not uncommon. If you are a good person, if you work with Seohyun for a certain period of time not short, you will want to work with her again. From very young age she has accomplished all the work perfectly in good faith. So, all her skills have improved year by year. She was not always in the most prominent position, but she is a person who can help her group and even the nation’s peace to lead to success. I've never seen a person beyond her in that she can do her best in good faith against everything over the past ten years.
