AIRSHOWVISION present the welcome return to the UK airshow scene of the Harrier jump jet , this time the latest GR9a. Enjoy this while you can, as the Harrier will soon be retired as a result of the UK Defence Review.
In atrocious conditions we see this aircraft do a spectacular monsoon take off, followed by a short wingbourne display, then the crowd favourite - the hovering section.
Thank You to the RAF for this display and the organisers of the Cosford airshow 2010.

What you say is correct, and if I was shooting this now I would do just what you say, but at the time of this recording I had a lens converter on which will not allow much zooming out, and with the rain being really heavy it was not possible to add/change lenses, so I had to keep the converter on and do my best with what I had. I now have a camera/lens solution which allows both high zoom AND wide angle shots too. Plus my style of filming has improved since 2010 I hope.

hahahah ya here in canada they are getting rid of the F-18 for the 35 and they didnt even test it or hold a competition for other possible fighters. Now its costing us more money then the said. And they did this after they just finished upgrading the F-18s

Are joint ventures always shit? The Harrier2/AV8B was a joint venture, with McDonnell Douglas leading the project and BAe as subcontractor. Even the existence of the original P1127/Kestrel/Harrier GR1/AV8A, owes more than you might think to the Americans. It was US funding (through NATO) that largely paid for it. It was this and US export potential that saved it, during the defense cuts of the 60s, when other new British aircraft were cancelled. Are Tornado, Typhoon & F16 shit?

this is my harrier and its in Russia in lennix Russia and I want to go fly missions now im border line homeless and the town I live in hates soldiers
