Strawberry Oat Crumble Recipe:
a few cups of fresh or frozen strawberries, enough to fill a baking dish
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup rolled oats
about 1 cup of flour
Preheat oven to 350F degrees
Butter a glass baking dish and add in enough sliced to fruit to at least half fill the dish. Mix the fruit with 1/4 cup of flour or cornstarch to make a thick syrup when baked.
In a bowl, melt the remaining 1/2 cup of butter. Stir in sugar, oats, and flour until dry and crumbly. Adjust as needed
Cover the berries with the crumble topping and bake at 350F for about 45 minutes or until the fruit is thick and bubbly and the topping is golden and fragrant.
Enjoy!
