Great to see ACC putting pressure on GT7, but new users will be put off by the faffing about with prepping cars ie tyre pressures, all the suspension variables, etc Don't get me wrong. I do ACC from time to time, but GT7 is my go to when I just wanna chill. And then there's my VR2. I just love it.

Just like DZF said, I just go aggressive, change my tire pressure after qualifying (after I see what the temp does to pressure) , and race. Eezy peezy.

I have been playing GT for over 20 years. This new ACC update has definitely caught my attention and I'm going to look into it tonight. I'm really fed up with PD daily races. The people at Gran Turismo just have no Creative Vision don't get me wrong the game is awesome but the daily races have no thinking behind it

Why do you need to switch. I never get why ppl do that. I play a lot of racing and sim racing. To swap one for another is mental to me. Play them all. Play 2D in ACC and VR in GT7.

@13guns87 I play on PSVr2 also, and once you play in Vr it's hard going back. It's difficult to adjust from being fully immersed in the car to going to a 2D experience

@@13guns87 Yeah sorry I didn't mean switch, but actually resume playing it. I used to play both acc and gt7 a lot, but after I got the PSVR2, playing in a tv just lost all attractiveness for me. I just can't play in the tv again, it is not fun anymore after you get used to the vr. To be honest I like the more challenging physics from ACC.

You should try out Xbox Community League! (I know, we didn't have crossplay when we started, but PS5 players are more than welcome!) We have been organising daily ranked races for 1.5 years already! We have stewarding, safety ratings and a skill base ranking system like LFM! We also already have a big established ranked player base! It is good to see Sim Grid entering the console scene! This will attract more players to ACC, but it isn't something new ;)

Oh, also, the resolution of ACC on PS5 seems weird, it’s as if it’s low res upscaled or something. GT7 looks much sharper and cleaner on a 4K display. But like I said before, I prefer VR, and ACC simply doesn’t support it on PS5.

XCL is also a good way to get VERY fun and competitive racing on console. XCL does multiple daily races in different lengths and classes and has some championships too

I am fkin delighted. Gt7 is just trash, all down to PD. Can't regulate the drivers, basically only get a ban for language in the lobby, constantly changing the bop and physics and the same combos again and again and again. Got my acc account to a decent level and then stop playing it because there was no updates and the players just weren't there. Back to ACC now to see how this plays out. LFG.

I really hope this works long term. I think it could fill a huge gap between sim racing on console and PC for people like me who want a more serious, more in depth experience, but don't have the opportunity to move to PC. GT7 is great for its accessibility and simplicity of setup, but they're clearly not interested in catering for the people that will make the effort to register and setup ACC. I'm hoping that the additional work required for ACC will help keep the racing cleaner and more respectful? Maybe time will tell on that one. Andy Leavers - Gopher Community Racing channel is well worth a look for ACC content too.

So, I really tried hard to love ACC, but the tyre pressure simulator mini game just kinda frustrated me, I got sick of mucking about with it. The actual physics were great to drive, very challenging in a fun and satisfying way, and the audio inside the car is amazing. But the tyre pressure thing just got me fed up with it, plus all the qualifying. The other issue that drove me back to GT7 (on PS5), was no VR2 support on ACC, and I race exclusively in VR on GT7. Even with its flaws, it just feels like a more fun and immersive experience for me personally. But if ACC supported the VR2, I’d go back to it, and maybe a setting for the game to just manage tyre pressure stuff.

I've had zero trouble managing tire pressures for years and years on ACC. It's more of a you problem than it is the game's problem.

@@AdrenaLukeYT ight bro chill out (i only play acc) and i get it cause depending on the server ambient temp can change and then u have to change preasures and if u dont kno how to u can loose up to 0.5 seconds a lap if ur preassures are messed up so chill out keep in mind most people dont kno the preasures

Basicaly teling a guy witch dosnt kno tire preasures that its his fault and not the game is like telling a child to do an engeniers job and if he dose a bad job its his problem for not knowing (i didnt take it as an insult i was just saying to have some empathy to people that arent proficent at something)

The format of GT7 dailyvraces benefits the sweats and the unemployed, who have all the time in the world to dedicate every waking hour to improve lap times. I do well in the official e-sports events, where on the spot qualifying is given more priority. PD need to think about Gamers who have a life outside of GT7.

After building a PC and switching to iracing, I don’t think I’ll ever touch GT7. Even then ACC was becoming my main sim just by racing in leagues on console. The physics and quality of racing on GT7 is not good imo but can be for beginners

Hi Kireth. Great video one thing that got be suggested to the developers of ACC is to allow on the PS5 version the ability to bind the throttle and brake on controller as I am disabled I can’t play it like I can on GT7 I imagine this would be a relatively easy fix

i just switched from gt7 to acc, i love it but acc needs to fix their bugs on the console, especially with the game causing saved files to become corrupt and losing your saved data and setups. once they fix that and the crashes sure it could kill the daily races

Been trying to get in to ACC the last few weeks but with out VR it just doesn't do it for me. Hopefully when they release the adapter for PC i'll just try it then. This is a good thing though... hopefully it will get who ever is putting together the dailies some insight.

Both games have their merits. Just depends what you're looking for. Personally GT7's penalty system is horrible, and the game stresses winning over sportsmanship and driving abilities. ACC stresses a player's overall driving abilities and sportsmanship.

I think it's pretty much like LFM where you have to register on the Sim Grid website then register at the race event you want, when the server is up you get all the info to join the race, all the driver rattings, points, etc are within the Sim Grid server and website so not exactly inside the ACC itself. Anyone who knows better please correct me if I'm wrong.

Started trying online races on ACC and there are a lot of dirty drivers there too, but one thing I like is they get DQS pretty quickly. Currently only able to do the quick races while I build up my SA rating.

It won't kill GT7 Daily Races, and that's a good thing. SimGrid is a great platform for racing, and people who are serious about fighting realistically and finsihing more races without damage should use it. But that's it's strength as well, it is a platform for the most interested people, who have higher driving standards and want to race people who have the same level of standards. The idiots who don't care will stay and crash in GT7.

ASC must introduce VR2, then most of the players will gain gt7 players. I myself think that ASC is several times better than gt7, but I play with VR and that's the only thing stopping me from switching to ASC. That's why I appeal to the creators, add VR and GT7 will disappear from PlayStation disks forever.

I don't know if this is on PC as well, I assume it is??... But for some reason it might not be. - In any case, it looks like I don't need to wish for GT7 to come to PC at all anymore. I mean, I already knew about Assetto Corse in general for years now, of course, I just haven't gotten around to playing it (I don't know why, but I'm just going through older racers for some reason first. I only got a proper wheel and pedal set late last year.), so I suppose I have a lot to look forward to with both games even, but especially with how much they've added to "Competizione".

My opinion: The FFB is way better on ACC then GT7 on Ps5 with the Fanatec DD+. Graphics and especially FPS are way better on GT7..but...I still love ACC on Ps5, for the immersion on wheel and race sound!

You living in a shoe box lol. Clamp it to a desk/table or a wheel stand. Takes up next to no room. You can play it on the sofa. Only a rig takes up room. A lot less than you'd think. Wheel stands fold away and take up no room storing either. I got a rig and a wheel stand. House is reasonably small, no room for a rig in Lroom. Wheel stand and rig in bedroom.

yea.... i played and enjoyed acc on console, however when it comes to my new pc setup and play way better. on concole there is a lot more children looking to just race typically with their wheel. this leads to a heavier grind to get your safety ratings up and such. however on pc i recently have only been playing for maybe 20 hours or so and already above a 50 safety rating, ive also won and podium alot more on pc then on xbox. but this is a great update i hope it gets more people racing!

Just checked into this. It’s not integrated, have to sign up with a PC essentially. Then input server blah blah. There are more steps than an IKEA book shelf. This thing will be DOA. Integrate it and maybe it is something - but it cost like 7 bucks a month to do anything but the quick race. Sigh….. as much as we gripe about GT7 as console people, there is a reason it dominates.

ACC is absolutely brilliant, however my experience with publc lobbies has been horrendous with half the grid just trying to ruin the race. If they can somehow make this a better experience then GT7 might be left by me.

I've always been a big fan of GT, the only reason I still pay GT7 is because of VR, but Assetto Corsa definitely sounds better and drives better than GT7. There is only one thing I can't stand about ACC is the Logitech DD Pro wheel settings, I can't seem to figure out how to stop it from shaking it, on straight lines its fine as soon as you hit a corner the wheel keeps wobbling, it's not smooth at all, the only way to reduce this effect is turning dampening on the wheel to max, but then it feels rubbish and sluggish.

I hate the 1-track a week approach. I actually dislike it in iRacing. By the end of the week, when I have time to really play (daaa weekend) I am usually sick and tired of the few tracks that are forced.

i play ACC on the PC using VR (Pimax) and GT7 on PS5. they are both amazing in different ways, just wished the ps5 is more powerful to push native VR visuals to the PSVR2 rather than all the upscaling trickery and UsB C connectors - can’t blame sony, the PS5 just isn’t powerful enough to output a high resolution VR experience. looking forward to AC Evo!

Admittedly the UI of GT7 is much better, I wish we could adjust the interface on ACC but that's out of our control sadly. We will do our best to make sure the interface on SimGrid is as clear and as easy to use as possible.

Both games can easily kill themselves if playing too much. GT7 is an art in their own category while ACC is more for some simulation feelings and both games can get boring as well. Both games lacks in up to date newly season updates or cars or racing tracks.

When you see a race on ACC or even FORZA, the Race on GT7 look like a joke, they always did, they have to give more weight to their Vehicles!

currently play acc on pc as the xbox version is sligthly floored with the fanatec wheels, i have the mclaren wheel and on console the wheel buttons are not configurable due to the xbox limitations on key bindings. heard rumours about xbox doing an sdk for this but thats all it is, just wondering if you have heard anything about this or you know a work around to get the functions (rotarys/toggle switches) working on xbox? this might make for a good video for you as im sure there are plenty of others with the same issues, these minor issues really take the edge of the game for me to be honest but would love to try the seasons on xbox with my fanatec gear just wish i could map the wheel just like io have it on pc.

Weekly tracks are fine. Daily tracks would require too much learning.

What about DLC cars, that you need to buy extra content to get. Like for example if there's a DLC car that's just better on a certain track or in a certain race, will I have to buy access to that car or is it possible to borrow a stock one just for that race? I own ACC on PS5 but haven't really played it since I don't know anyone that prefers it on console over PC, and my PC can't run it.

The Grid Pass events will be open to DLC content. For Quick Races we will focus on combos that only require the free content in the game.

This is useless because you need a paid subscription that isn't even part of the game itself. There should be proper daily races within the game.

There are free races every 20min, plenty of opportunities to use Seasons without spending a cent :)

@@JelaniSuper yh I feel ya honestly ur best bet is free practice with cars u like and use the preset turning ACC has to offer to start on doesn't matter how many times u crash in Free practice or how many u actually complete without but when u finally get a decent time in on ur track and the car then u will feel like Max Verstappen 💀

nope. GT7 has a much larger player base, even ACC is a better GT3 game.

For me ACC with a controller is a horrible experience if compared to gt7. The complete opposite is true with a steering wheel where ACC is a lot sharper en immersive.

gt7 races suck online. Wait 10 minutes for a 7 minute race and then get punted on the first lap. Way over it, Iracing all the way now

Gt7 is hit and miss... last week with gr 3 at redbull ring was amazing... this week, they all suck.. sidenote, why dont you do it full time? You have a lot of subs, and youre one of the few that offer tutorial videos... your slow lap showing the line on monza is the first video of yours ive seen and the first of its kind... been here ever since

GT7 daily’s are hit and mostly miss, even the world pros barely play them. Give me real tracks, variable weather sometimes and change up the driving class between GT3, GT4 and so on.

ACC needs VR on console … after playing VR I will just never go back. I agree … pairing with friends in race would be great! Also what they need is where you setup mini championships with you friends. Select number of tracks for the night. Race. And at the end it automatically calculates the winner for the night.
