To tell you how little I fish, I had to look in the comments to find what was wrong. My question will sound like sarcasm but it is 100% serious. How far away should he stay from you?? It looked like he was a good 30-40 feet away. I only fish from the bank so as long as someone isn't crossing my line, I don't care where they stand.
I mean that’s the same things as pulling up next to someone and casting right into their spot! The whole lake and they couldn’t skip 20-30ft? I sure as heck would’ve called them out. Or at least gave them the old “Seriously??”
My dad always said” You can’t change the way people act, but you can change the way you react.” Wise man. I get in lots of hand to hand disputes to this day. Sorry dad , people are shittier these days.
I don’t believe anyone who calls it “hand to hand disputes” has ever been in a fight 😂 and even if it’s true. Youre more than likely the problem if you get into so many
You can call them out if it really bothers you say something don’t be a bitch about it and post in social media that’s my take . Also fishing is luck or whoever has better bait so as you get old and you don’t get things your way you tend to complain rather than be a man and say something. Also there’s nothing you can do but bitch about . Yes you came first is it your lake ?
Didn’t know you owned the entire lake wow we don’t know how to share I like to fish myself but damn it’s just water and fish something we can all share it’s not that deep
@@IsuckatCod99I wouldn’t be so bold as to make the claim that op owns the whole lake I’d say op just wants to have a little privacy maybe they just want to be say 50 to 100 feet from someone, if you look in the video the lake is F U C K I N G MASSIVE so ur comment comes off dumb as hell dawg
Anytime me and my buddies are kayaking fishing spots, bass boats will always avoid our current spot and come back later. It’s just courtesy and we do the same with other anglers. This is disrespectful
It depends on the specific situation, this isn't (* what was shown in clip ) disrespectful and for all you know that's thier favorite spot, as long as they're fishing far away enough from you to not cause issues there is no issue. Now, what is disrespectful is coming over real close to another fishermen because you saw him catching. You know what? I take it back they're too damn close (Edit: I take back my take back, don't see anything wrong with it, upon re viewing I do think they were slightly too close when riding by but they were quick and hardly made any disturbance in water )
As a bow fisherman, rule is 150 yards from campsites and people. That includes fishermen. Bows are weapons and can’t be near you while you’re kayaking. They need to learn more about safety for your behalf.
@@ApexChrisHansenbow fishing is even more like a real fishing than your fishing line, just remember they used spears and hands for like 20k+ years lmao
@@ApexChrisHansen Nobody that's fishing for sport ever is a real fisherman lol. Being a real fisherman is valid in 2 ways for eating and or selling. Sports fishermen often use 100,000 in equipment including sonar and try and act like they have a skill lol.
I can't stand when I'm in a parking lot by my self..there are plenty of closer spaces and someone comes and Parks right next to me ... I'm parked far away from other cars purposely because people do not know how to open their doors or put up shopping carts etc most will hit your car while you're in it and won't say a word or worse when it seems it's on purpose...or I will pull thru to the next spot so no one is directly facing me because you have people that pull up with their bright @ss ox beams or bright @ss lights and won't turn them off
@@mason9807that perspective is known by most people as 'being an asshole'. Knowing that something is disrespectful, but doing it anyway just because you can, is asshole behaviour.
@@samueloneill3246 yea but I feel that behind all that is a deeper assholery by claiming a chunk of the earth as yours simply because you've been frequenting it
It also requires a level of ignorance in regard to fishing as a whole. They don't even stop to ponder if multiple people casting the same spot is a place they want to be. Some are purely malicious about it but that is rare outside of comps, in my experience.
"Well, the bites are pretty bad, i think i see a splash on the other side of this spot." *proceeds to paddle right through the spot, splashing as much as possible.
I was kayaking a week ago and there was some wind I had to fight against. This boat shows up, drives all the way across the lake, and starts fishing within 30 ft of me, THEN HAS THE AUDACITY to ask me why Im fishing so close to them. I've never wanted to choose violence so heavily before
“Choose violence”?… my god you’re so fuckin corny and pathetic… what re you gonna say next, “plot twist”?, “diabolical”?, “no cap”?, “glazing”?… Here’s a crazy idea that might now your mind, BE ORIGINAL FOR ONCE….. 🤯 🤯 🤯
I stopped letting this get to me after I accepted the fact that action brings action sometimes with fishing. You are only upping your odds with knowledge, but at the end of the day it is a sport of luck.
Lol since when is college dropout an insult 😂😂😂 at least they could afford GOING to college in the first place! But herr I am, a high school dropout, and I'd never even dream of being that much of a prick
They had the trolling motor going and weren’t being loud at all while getting rid of the invasive species and trash fish around a good spot. What are you smoking??
Everyone saying they are fine as long as they don’t scare the fish have no clue that as soon as that arrow enters the water the fish react even if not hit they all scatter so yea this was a dick move
Nah, I disagree. That's just being a bully with a bigger boat. Be respectful and give everyone space. A good spot isn't a good spot if there are too many lines or a hugeeee pontoon boat blowing up the spot.
@@black.beerd.gamingyeah, like honestly they could've shared the space... From farther away. Right next to eachother is ridiculous. The spot wont be good if the fish are spooked off anyway.
@mycomboisdeadly3542 What? He was referring to the guy saying that he hopes that the fisher man hooks first. Which implies that they both have hooks, but they don't one is bow fishing.
😂 I would kindly start my boat up and rev it and leave to another spot😂 I had this happen to me and if I'm not mistaken they followed you to that spot you just weren't aware 😮
@@OGCuckleberryfinn please 🥺 notice I said I would start my boat 🤔🧐 I don't own a yak unless it's cognac and I stop drinking sooo My boat is a Mercury boss a yak can't handle that!🤔💯
Best thing ive learned is that When you start thinking that everything is yours youll be a miserable person. Ive had a guy come up while i was fishing and encouraged him to fish there told him they were biting hard at this spot. Went home happy, stress free. Enjoyed the rest of my day. 💯
nobody thinks anything is theirs bro you in ur own solitude and it’s open why you gotta disrupt that man’s solitude cuz u wanna fish in this spot specifically
@@KuzuLeonn when you're in public bro I ain't nothing solitude about that. Now if you're in your own home then I came in there and disrupt you yeah I can see you having a problem then 🤣🤦🏽♂️
@@KuzuLeonn you gonna live a miserable life with that mindset. When I'm out fishing or anything. I encourage people, I talk to them they talk to me. Man that's how memories are made. Not by yourself it's made with other people.
@@MrLex87 that’s true but i’m an intellectual so maybe this is just where we’re different i bask in silence the clarity makes my mind louder and when other people talk to me i can’t think and i don’t like not thinking
Yeah. I was thinking you could start up a really weird conversation with them. Like obnoxiously weird. Maybe throw in a weird laugh or two. It could be fun
You didn't hear this from me but glass Christmas Balls filled with Fish oil/Bunker oil and capped with a piece of gum or wax will throw like a baseball! This also works wonders with tailgating on the highway.
So you’re actively admitting to criminal behavior and saying that you’d rather be creative enough to commit vandalism and endanger people than control your own emotions and let’s not mention causing glass shards covered in oil to be in the road making it extra dangerous if a person falls off a bike or gets in an accident
Better yet, pull up to whichever spot they went to after they finally left yours and continue the noise. 😂😂😂A few minutes behind though, cause it'd be weird to follow them immediately after they leave
Depends. Do you have a weapon more powerful than a bow? If no, then do nothing. If Yes, you cast right in middle of where they are fishing, and tell them to F off. Definitely, a dick move.
so in your imaginary tough guy scenario you gonna drop your rod and go for your gun before one of 4 guys puts an arrow in you? or you are gonna brandish a weapon while fishing? either one is almost garunteed to get you dead or in prison, but hey some ppl are just desperate to prove they are rough i guess.
Looks like mommy went out and bought her babies a new toy from target this morning and sent her little city boys out fishing in their matching little cowboy outfits. How cute.
Gotta love the locals. Gonna eat your trophy fish tonight. My buddy's winning this. We been watching you scouting out this big bass over here . Have a good day.
I get that feeling extremely well, it happens in so many things on the daily, people just have no awareness and respect anymore, they think the world is theirs.
"Sheeple" will always follow the herd and crowd you, instead of finding their own way. It happens on lakes, in hunting areas, campgrounds, in parking lots, and on the freeway. It's especially frustrating when you move - and they follow right behind!
I had something similar happen a few months ago fishing on the shore of a lake. Me and my brother were the only ones there, some dude pulls up directly next so us blaring Spanish music and starts casting over our lines. Super annoying
This is like when you’re deer hunting and find a big ol 9pt Buck and right when you’re about to shoot you see an arrow hit the Buck and Next you hear multiple guys screaming in excitement 😂
I mean you simply let them know you’re in a tournament and ask them if they can please move down some, the worst they can say is no and continue to move right where they did.
