Haste the Day, Still Remains, and It Dies Today are 3 of the most influential and impactful bands I've ever heard in my life. This music changed my life when I was 14-15. These bands don't get enough credit
I needed JESUS back when I was living in unRepentance during college years. These guys, as well as As I Lay Dying and August Burns Red-GOD PROVIDED to get me through some rough periods when I needed more than the spiritual suppression which usually comes with listening long-term to angry, secular hardcore with unforgiving lyrics accompanying punishing breakdowns (although, breakdowns are a + 😅). I miss this band. I miss them so much 😢. Anyway, I believe this is one of the most melodic, and one of the best hardcore/metalcore choruses written and sung; if not the best. Bar none.
6years ago back in 7th i ollied hollywood 12 stair listening to this song i just had to come back and listen to it one more time to reminisce on the good times in my past
Hope i dont get hate for being Pagan, but i love this band so much; faith shouldnt separate us; but unify us. fucking miss this band so much. HTD FOREVER!!!
i'm going to their final show march 11. they will be remember. but i have good feelings they might get back together in 4-5 years. i mean look at creed. they stated creed will most likely never be anymore. but they joined back together :D
+Rubem Evangelista hehehhehe pods crer tava sentindo falta tenho um projeto de banda e de vez enquanto tiramos cover dos caras, o som deles e realmente bom
@TheBloo90 The drummer here is the original drummer they had from the beginning to Dreamer. He left after they released this video, then they got Giuseppe who plays on Attack Of The Wolf King (GREAT ALBUM!!) And then they eventually broke up /: /:
not that it matters to all of the trolls out there but this band has influenced my life big time and im making a band dedicated to htd covers and not shitty band covers no kick ass covers that htd would be proud to say hey we like this shit HTD FOR LIFE !!!!!!!
ya i dont get why these guys arent more popular. Perhaps they are an acquired taste. Regardless they are great song writes and a great metal band that kicks fukin ass
@kingRames11 Hey! I'm JW too :). Myself and few friends some of the congs around me are going to one of their shows. Awesome group ^_^! I'm quite positive that they don't use that sort of language in any of their songs to be honest. Not that "son of a bitch" is really so bad or extreme but they seem pretty squeaky clean in everything I've seen and heard.
J The song was recorded in a studio a year before the music video was released. They’re lip syncing for the footage. Or at the very least, playing it live and are off-beat to the music.
This band is a/an Post-Hardcore or Metalcore band.. This means they Sing AND Scream. If you don't like screaming then listen to other band or Haste The Day has a couple of non screaming/softer songs which are "Autumn" (off of there Dreamer album), and "White As Snow" (off of there "Attack Of The Wolf King" album, which is my personal favorite.)
