@@wongpandai I have a small wrist yes i know. My 36 Explorer and my BB58 are perfect for me. My 41 Sub is also ok because it does not have an integrated bracelet. Therefore, a Citizen or a PRX in 38 are perfect for me
I love Citizen and love this one. I was not blown away by the original Tsuyosa, but this is beautiful. My only gripe is I think its a bit over priced. I think I might sit patiently and wait a bit to pick one up on the secondary market.
I love the dial, especially in that colour. Having it be a fully titanium watch as well is great... But I'm with you, they definitely cheaper out on the movement, it deserved a 9000 series.
Nice thoughtful review! I agree, including the 9000 series would have made purchasing this watch essentially a no brainer, at least for me. I'm not as concerned with the advertised price, however, as Citizen watches can typically be found at greatly reduced prices on the secondary market, especially once the fervor has died down.
Nobody should ever pay full msrp price for Citizen or Bulova. You can always find them discounted by at least 25% and even up to 50% at Citizen brick and mortar stores, or even online. 100m water resistance, titanium with proven coating, saphire, beautiful design and at 25% off, it is fantastic piece and awesome value!!! My only gripe is the 3Hz movement vs 4Hz smoother sweep, but it is not enough to deter me from buying it as it will last forever no matter what. Way better than Tsuyosa with its 50m water resistance. i really like Bulova and Citizen but they can be very frustrating offering us watches that are a brick shy of a load: they drop a Miyota 8xxx into the watch or the dial is way too big or fill in the blank.
Thanks Olivier. It's a very interesting model. Even better then the évolution of thé tsuyosa. The Tissot look, thé green dial IS great. Thé date complication, titanium of course and saphir... I imagine the lume IS not Bad. And 10 ATM IS greater for everyday Wear... It's a really classy élégant but tool watch! A little bit Expensive but for a titanium Citizen it's ok!😊
They finally fixed the bracelet, removed the rounded links that do not match the angular case. It was particularly bad in the Tsuyosa small seconds. And better legibility.
What an awesome watch but why are they handicapping this watch with a budget movement? The 8000 series movements are fine movements for budget watches but this watch deserves a 9000 series movement. I really don't understand Citizen or Seiko for that matter. Micro brands and a good amount of aliexpress watch brands are producing better watches for lower prices that have better specs. Anyway, rant over. Still a nice watch. Cheers!
What is it that our Japanese friends have with date windows?? Just as with the Orient Bambino, the only thing wrong with this beautiful piece is that superfluous date window. I agree with your view on the price point. I would place it (considering the movement) in the Bambino tier, 250 €, or $. Anyway, thank you for the, as always, informative video!
A very nice watch, there is also a version with Eco-Drive. I really hope that the quality of its workmanship will be high, comparable to the prx. Because in the case of Tsuyosu, the bracelet was tragic, below criticism
Think about it , if Seiko offered this what do you think it'd cost ? bearing in mind you'd still get an equivalent NH variant so in my mind it seems fairly priced . Mind you they're in danger of going into intergrated bracelet overkill across their range but a nice piece nonetheless.
Why would they release this so close to the new Tsuyosa? About the price: These are standard Citizen prices. They always come down after a year, my Barnacle diver for example had a suggested Retail-Price of around 900 euros or dollars depending on your currency on release. Bulova belonging to Citizen also had their fairly recent GMT-Release at 1200 at the start, now you can get them between 650 to 780. I wanted to get the blue dial Tsuyosa but am currently waiting on Jody's (From Just One More Watch) new Erebus to see if I wouldn't prefer that as the Blue-Dial piece I wanna buy next.
T4YC. I love Citizen, and I think that the price is reasonable for the movement provided, but the text "automatic" and underneath, "titanium" is not a good piece of design, for what is supposed to be a beautiful watch.
I just really don’t like offset small seconds complications. I like it at the 6, can maybe accept it elsewhere on a chronograph, but at the 5 for no reason? I just really hate it. I get why someone would like this, and love that for them, but not even close for me.
And it lost all it's charm by moving crown to 3 (imho only!). My watches are mostly (except couple of vintage ones) with crown at 4 o'clock and I really prefers it this way.
Nope not really excited for this. The case could have been made smaller to achieve the smaller lug to lug and the central seconds should be in the centre as well.

Like I stated in a previous comment on another video, you should work on your accent. You'll get there with time. I was in your shoes a couple years back. Fait gaffe aussi à ton intonation. J'ai remarqué que tous les français le font. C'est saccadé, il y a un léger temps de pause et ça appuie au démarrage du mot suivant. Essaye de rester monocorde même si c'est contre intuitive, ça passe mieux comme un pro. Ceux qui présentent le journal télévisé seront une bonne référence pour toi. Voilà assez de conseils. Je serai obligé de te facturer tout ça après😉.
Titanium bracelet and case = scratches Small second + date = can't be dressed up. Tsuyosa is way more GADA than this one and some colorways are good for dress up.
I think it looks fantastic, Ice Blue the stand-out for me. 40mm is a good size in my opinion. I also think an applied logo would have looked much more luxurious.
