Oh.. not only is it HIGNFY, Diane Morgan is gracing us with her presence? I haven't been this happy since the release of Belgian act Technotronic's first album, Pump Up the Jam: The Album (1989).
Well sadly woman’s getting underrated in all kinds of fields trough entire history! But yea haven’t find anybody else yet here in The Netherlands who knows this hilarious woman 2😭 I feel so lonely..😔
I've never understood the "Keir Starmer is boring" thing. Charisma is a nice asset but if I want to be entertained I'll watch TV or read a book. Thanks, Desiree for saying it.
@@alikazerani Yeah, we Yanks thought that in 2016. Being wrong cost us in ways we're still counting. [Using the Royal "we" in that I accept responsibility for not doing more to prevent America's Orange Blob of Death]
I have become well versed in British politics and the UK in general over the last couple of years; it’s all I watch nowadays. I can’t stand American television and news.
I watched you on Netflix, I just loved it, Diane you had me nearly peeing myself. Anyone I know I tell them they have to watch. Thank you so very much.
The bit with the protesters is insane. This police law and the public order law are basically saying "Obey, or else!" And the police are keen to see how far they can go with the "or else" part, knowing they'll get away with it.
While I love this show and this episode is great I lament Mock the week isn't also able to still cover all this too. I will say this was still a marvelous episode
Mock the Week went stale - I may have just aged...but it was a bit meh by the end to me anyway. I wasn't a big watcher of Kumar but his show got taken down from the bbc...maybe a Mock the Week will appear again and start fresh on another channel, cos I did love it! I guess HIGNFY can't be removed, it's ingrained...or Paul has all the knowledge :D
I am not familiar with Ms. Morgan's work, but after enjoying her presentation on this program, I will have to seek some out. Thank you again for an enjoyable half hour.
Being American, I don't know most of the politicians they are talking about, but this was the funniest program I've seen in a real long time. And I needed the laughs. Thanks to whoever posted this!
@@BMotz-ym1fn I think the all time best ones were with Roy Hattersley* or when Angus Deayton was embarrassed :) Also when Charlotte Church first appeared and neither Paul or Ian had realised how clever and funny she was…
@@jafa1402 The Shatner episode is really good. The other 2 favs of mine are Tom Baker (1970s Dr. Who) and Brian Blessed. The Brian Blessed one is just crazy. There are a couple with Boris Johnson that are funny, too, and show just how unbelievable it is that he was ever their prime minister. Once you watch shows like this, or The Last Leg, you quickly learn the politicians, see how much more they know about what's going on here than we do about there, and how much alike our countries are...usually in the worst ways.
I have never been more convinced that you - and I, must have watched a totally different show. I feel like I have sat through a funeral, despite the gallant attempts of Ian, Paul, and Ian's team member. I thought Desiree? was off her game, but then, I certainly would be. I gave her a wave through, from sympathy. Normally, the extended version is funnier, and I so look forward to it. I swear I will wait for, A bit more, but I can't resist... This week I actually think I will avoid the extended version. This has been SO miserable an experience.
I played in a band at a dance which Corbett was at with a few showbizz pals. They were dressed like idiots and completely schnozzed on something-or-other. I've never liked Sooty.
Does anyone need to remind his new royal majesty that the first king Charles pissed off his Parliament so badly that he's now resting in St George's Chapel Windsor in 2 pieces?
Best host I’ve seen on HIGNFY for quite a while. The old classics are always fun but Morgan does an exceptional job here. Hope she’s back to host again, a much needed spark seems to have returned to what for the rest of the season I felt was quite a lifeless and awkward atmosphere
There were a few places where I thought there was a small drop in quality compared to the first four episodes this season, but overall it continued the trend toward season 65 being among the best of the HIGNY series. Many thanks to ViVaHD for sharing this so quickly. Love having HIGNY to watch with breakfast to start my morning where I live.
Call me ignorant, but I've never heard of Diane Morgan.... looks like I've got some catching up to do. Very much looking forward to the unabridged version, TIA ViVaHD 😘
