What a way to wake up. My 55 is in the process of getting restored. I am waiting for a floor pan and then it goes to the body shop. You have ONE awesome machine dude. Nothing like a 55.
the detail and craftsmanship on this 55 is superb it is definitely on the top five list of dream cars thank you for sharing the videos beautiful God bless
Theres a critic with any car. This ones hard to pick on, you should see it in person though. The build quality it outstanding. Money alone doesn't build a car like this. It takes sooo much skill, sooo many hours, and pure dedication. That engine compartment is a jewelry box. O and is a stroked small block with a LOT of power ;)
Nice Car! I have a 55 210 Post and like a few to get it on the road. Thanks for sharing. Never mind all the idiots that just look to make rude comments. They all are jealous because they have nothing at all. That's the way it usually is with those.
The chrome strip on the dash looks like the one they use to put in the 56 chevy's? This 55 is gorgeous! Do not ever sell it! Thanks for sharing it with us!
Wicked- I can't watch this video enough! I had given up on my dream of having a ride like this do to cost but after seeing this Iam totally inspired to somehow make it happen. I love the small things that catch your eye like the driver side mirror to the tach and the roof being the same color as the hood. Excellent! And where does one start with the engine?Incredible! Thx for posting this vid- would love to see more. Having a dbl nickle like yours is now at the top of my "bucket list". Peace
If you're rich these make nice daily drivers. 11 mpg is what you're looking at on average, and keeping it up and clean is a lot of work and money. Almost nobody uses a car like this for all their errands. 99% of hot rods are 2nd cars, used mostly for weekends.
Daam...55 Bel-Air makes such a beautiful beast...clean body lines..stance.....Them n the 69-70 Chevelles badass musclecars...not taking anything away from the Fords or Mopars of the world..
Great looking car. Really like the entire package. Nice job. To answer your questions in the title: 1. Yes, I have dreamed of a hot 55 2. This is certainly one of them. Take a bow. You'ver certainly earned it
I like the two tone black with the pearl white. Mine was originally a navy blue 🔵. I may three stage it with a pearl just to bring it to another level but I like the original color.
kool cars 5 6 7 old school rules!!! thanks for the ride!! mine has been in the barn for 20 years? third time restoration now ! build em up ... tear em down!! if these cars could talk what stories they could tell!!
..grat video, these old Chevys still have more class than any of the new cars Detroit or wherever they build 'em now puts out.. better colors then too! 1963.. my 1st car '56 Chevy HT 1965 2nd car 1963 Chevy 300hp SS 1971 3rd car '57 Chevy 327 HT
Yes I dream of 55 Chevys on Art Morrison frames. I also dream about gassers. Two-lane Blacktop- big block tunnel ram two 4 dreams that smell of rubber. Sometimes I dream of Nomads. I got it bad. Thank you
Who built this Chevy, just for future reference, as anyone can see this is an Awesome built, amazing attention to detail, what cost was the total built project
