My friend has the same , she has been a nurse for over 10 years, she’s a beautiful person, because of ignorance of this was was told she can no longer work as a nurse and was told to leave , she is left with nothing, thank you for educating and being so encouraging, I am sharing your story to left her up that nothing can stop you!
My mother has Stargardt's disease. I told her about what you two brothers and your company are doing and she got EXCITED! Thank you so very much for all that you are doing and for raising awareness!
I used to have a friend who was visually impaired as was his younger sister and older brother. His youngest brother could only see light and dark. My old friend had (Coke bottom bottle) glasses but if he took them off everything was completely blurry. Once his sister graduated from high school something happened to her eyes and she became completely blind. 😢 I knew someone blind my entire life. My godmother’s sister who was born blind. She also gave birth to a blind son. It never stopped either of them from traveling, going to college and getting higher degrees or anything else. They were both amazing people.
Thank you for creating such a wonderful company and advocating for the visually impaired. I found out just this year that I have Stargardt’s and you’ve given me hope that we’ll find a cure in our lifetime ❤ It was so validating to hear your experiences are similar to mine.
Was literally listening to Etta James... I'd Rather Go Blind when you're YT advert popped up on social media! Divine timing I say. My father went blind (NLP) at 42 due to diabetes -- I worked at Doheny Eye Institute in 80's... and my Grandmother was Mrs. Manning. Applaud your efforts and style! LPJ
Thank you for telling us about your family! We absolutely love hearing from people who have gone through similar challenges as we have or have loved ones that have. Science and technology have advanced so much over the last few years that we really are confident that finding a cure is not a question of IF but it's a question of when. It means so much to us to receive your message and for your words of encouragement, and we wish you the best!
My brother has degrative eye disease, i am so behind this thank you guys for starting this foundation. so going to be sharing this and help spread the word. thank you guys so much for doing what you are doing , keep it up
I am not blind, but do have a severe prescription. I am seriously thinking of these shirts for Christmas gifts! Awesome idea to help visually impaired people!
I come from a family that unfortunately has a number of vision disorders on both sides that has resulted in a high percentage of impairment and blindness (glaucoma, macular degeneration, retinal detachment, myopia...). Beyond regular old deep myopia, I got the diagnosis a few years ago of keratoconus -- the gradual disintegration of connective fibers between the layers of the cornea. You get lucky like me and have a very slow progression or eventually go blind or get a corneal transplant. I really like your company's product and scope and look forward to purchasing some shirts -- I love the feel of good fabric and am happy the profits are put to the use of curing some of these vision disorders. Good work you guys!
The two of you are extraordinary, I absolutely love what you are doing and your passion behind it all. I pray for you both that your business Endeavour is very successful. It is people like you who change the world for the better. Blessings as you move forward. Sherrie Melanson
