If you have a child with a narcissist. Take the child and run. Honestly if you have a narcissist in your life at all, just cut them off. Speaking as a child of a narcissist, some relationships are not worth trying to fix. You’ll be saving yourself a lot of pain by walking away.

😭 Sometimes I get sick to my stomach because these videos are exactly what my life was like with my ex… It feels like it was yesterday and certain triggers take me right back like I’m still stuck. Thank God for therapy, for family, for friends, for growth. I thank God every time that we are free. That we were fortunate enough that he walked away when we were no longer what he needed. My daughters don’t have to grow up loving a monster that only feels like a man when he’s physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually abusing you. Thank God we’re safe and living a beautiful life ❤️

Yep, can totally relate to this, I had three children with narcissistic ex. The children as babies were literally left in their cots when he had to look after them. I didn't bother asking him. It was so pathetic

Yeahhh, regarding narcissists, I have a therapist planned in the future for myself cause kin I grew up with (and roomed with in college) messed me up mentally. Didn't realize it was bad or how bad it was until I met my bf who treated me well. Sometimes he'll say something innocuous and I'll get so triggered and upset.

JFC... It's like I hear his voice! 😓 One day I was in tears because he never helped with our kids. They were three and one. Okay, I was used to being the one that took care of everything by then. "Do it yourself" was all I heard... The house, food, kids.. but I told him, why not at least play with them? They need it and I need the help. He said, "They're not really fun. Maybe when they're older they'll be fun." 😶

My favorite one was when I was still in school and working and he said my job is too important I have a job that if I don't do properly I could die I need sleep 🙄🙄🙄🙄give me a fucking break

Eventually you just stop trusting them alone with the child, then of course you have never allowed them to have a parental role in the child’s life…even though we raised them under the same roof for the past 16 years….ummmm…..I’m still confused about that one and been a single momma not for 7 months today.

My husband got her one night. Her crying immediately stopped and I knew something was wrong so I jumped out of bed. He had his hand covering her mouth to keep her quiet, in the bathroom with his back against the door blocking most of the door. He said “Go to sleep”. She was a week old. I lost it. I told his mother who of course didn’t care. I snatched her away from him and documented everything.

Omg my ex did this when we lived together. I have ocd and before moving in he was always very respectful and understanding about it. We love together and suddenly the reason he never once did any chores at all and left HIS messes for me to clean was bc “well I can’t do it right bc of your ocd”. That’s not how it works at all. I just wanted help and to not be treated like a maid.

My baby came to work with for his first year of life , I was fortunate enough to have a job and title that allowed me to do so but it was out of fear of what might happen in my absence not really a good thing but I couldn't see it as that at the time .

I never have any help with three kids and the one time my moms in town and offers to watch them so I can go out by myself which I never get to do, he doesn’t want me going because it’s “too late”

OMG I have two children with mine (3,2, one on the way)... When he discarded me, then the smear campaign, then he said he not going to help take care of his kids, he blocked me and I blocked him.... months later he calls from another # claiming I'm keeping him away from the kids. Um sir you wrote them off, then tell me yo to take care of them myself, he didn't want me to sign them over to him(even though he said I'm "keeping them away" and he said he can give them a better life 😑) he didn't really want to do it because I was like ok let's go to court and get it official 🤷🏾‍♀️... he got mad cussed me out and hung up on me 😊

This is literally my ex with all of our kids.

My ex assaulted me. And I never left him alone with her. Me and my daughter have a place now, without him. I am sad to say it has to be that way, but my daughter doesn't need to see violence, be emotionally abused or experience neglect.

Growing up in the 1960's and 70's, I rarely saw a dad do anything with a baby. They'll hold a baby briefly then give it back to mom. This is generally just a normal Guy Thing, not a symptom of NPD. Dads do more with their kids when they're older.

YES YES YES he would literally prop the bottle up to play on his phone. Came home to our son standing in his bouncer face first (thankfully alive only sleeping) in a big stuffed animal, with him locked in the bathroom showering. Yeah he doesn't get to be alone with him anymore and I'm "the asshole".

This led me to postpartum depression, he got the back burner supply pregnancy hopefully he’ll me and my child alone 🥴

See but I know when that baby gets older if heaven forbid these two stay together she'll be a "daddy's girl" and the father would use that against the mother. The father would let child do what she wants and mess up the mother's parenting. It's real sad to see

My ex-husband would say and do this shit. Wow.... Narcissists truly are all the same. That's how you know it's demonic. We aren't all dating the same person. But they all use the same lines and have the same actions... As much as I believe it all, it still blows my fucking mind. It's so sick.

Hell, I propped a bottle with a pillow just so I can run to the bathroom holding my pee in for so long. Does that make a narcissist? When it comes down to it though it is all perspective. My narcissistic mother would not allow me to do anything in her house or if I clean her house and it isn’t right she complains about it and I stopped doing it then complains I never help her. It gets frustrating to deal with.

Believe it or not female narcissist are the same with their own children as well, when I heard the part that you’re just better at it than me gave me flashbacks 😳. People just can’t believe that the nurturing parent sometimes isn’t the female , when my children were older and got hurt they always came to me first because they knew who actually cared

oh wow! This makes me feel SO GOOD about being a single mom! I make all the decisions, I have all the control, we are safe, healthy, happy, and this house is full of love and will never be anything other than that ever again! I can’t even imagine having to talk a partner into loving or appreciating our mutual child. That would break my heart! And for all the women who are going through this, I love you all so much. You’re my sisters, and I have so much hope, love and support for you! Women are so strong, often because they have to be. You can make happen what you want to happen. Because all of these videos are one sided... it can also be interpreted as maternal gatekeeping. Mothers sometimes think the father doesn't do anything right and micromanage everything so the father feels useless and frustrated. It's a very real thing; I'd venture to say it's perpetuated by this constant Women vs Men thing society has going on. Two sides to every coin. Better to work together.

I don't think the gender is relevant . I'm in that situation only it's reversed roles. I'm talking verbatim aside from the "you're her father" part. Our daughter is now 2 and nothing has changed. It's getting worse actually. Over the last couple months she's become a self aware Narc which seemed to make minor improvements. Kept the behaviors but would almost instantly realize it and pull it back a little. Couple weeks ago she reconnected with a old toxic friend and for lack of a better term, she's off the wagon. Narcs are always neglectful but they can be worse. At times they become malicious and that's what I'm seeing ATM. I've came across many peoples stories on Narcissistic abuse and Im confident mine would sink your boat. Not trying to be that hey look at me person. I feel for everyone going through it. These videos and venting a bit is just my way of dealing with it.
