Good info, I own a 2018 Can Am and here soon I'd like to either upgrade the rack and power steering to something a bit more powerful or put a Hess steering stabilizer setup for the short term, less expensive fix.

Have you guys released the new steering brack to correct the over steering issue yet? I already have steering stops on the rack of my defender that I've had this issue with, but at full droop or if it hits something while turning its folded my axle back and broken.. so before I weld a "steering stop" on the a-arms to stop the backing plate from turning anymore, I'd like to try the new bracket..

I have a 2020 can am maverick sport xxc. I picked this thing up from the dealer after I spent 7500.00 in accessories on this buggy which included the superatv 4 inch portal lift, warrior X/T tires 34 inch, upgraded to the heavy duty ball joints, heavy duty tie rod kit. I pick this buggy up thinking well she should be bullet proof. I bring her home unload off the trailer and took a ride in my yard come back to garage and the front tires are flopped out. I'm thinking well this happens. So after riding this thing around in my yard the next day averaging about 10 to 15 mins putting around my yard and everytime I would stop to check my tires they would be either flopped out or turned in so you wasn't able to ride it for more than 15 mins at a time before you would have to adjust the front tires. Steering???? You couldn't turn this thing around unless you had at least 2 acres. One complete turn of the steering wheel is all you get. Well that doesn't turn the tires very much at all. The throw on the steering rack does absolutely nothing. It is basically unrideable. You may be able to ride it in a parade. There is no steering stops in the steering rack. After calling superatv and inquiring on my issues they pretty much told me that I would have to live with it. So after my portal nightmare I highly suggest anyone looking at putting portals on your ride becareful you may end up like myself stuck with 5000.00 in accessories that you can't use.

SATV says no more than a 4.5” backspacing on 15” wheels? But fitting a 5+2 15” wheel will fit?

For the X3 would a 2019 64" car with the factory front locker be the ideal candidate for a portal build? Sounds like the stronger rack and less leverage on the A-Arms would help considerably.

What tires are those? I'm having a hard time finding a tire bigger than 35 that aren't agricultural tractor tires that are only 8.5wide.

If someone would PLEASE make something like this for the X3. We have 5 X3's in our group and all of them have steering problems. I even put the $1,000 Epowersteer kit on mine and its still insufficient and I am running 32s with no portals

Great video! Question for you tho. So I bought the rack boss for my 17 Rzr turbo and even with the steering stops out I noticed I lost a little bit of steering. Is this something you guys noticed?

Can someone please tell me how much inches you add on like a 6+1, 5+2, 4+3 offset.

Could clarify what you said about the steering upgrade. Many vids ago you had sandcraft steering link on their and said it was the fix all now super ATV rackboss. Does both fit the steering failure or due too the rack boss being so much cheaper than sandcraft?

Hmmm 3/8” is smaller than 10mm. Perhaps he meant 8mm OEM bolts?
