Hawke: Don't you think it's time for some truth about Ho-Minh? Mrs. Roper: Ho-Minh's last name is Roper. Hawke: Guess I have to live with that. Mrs. Roper: It's the only name I'll ever give. Hawke: Tell Ho-Minh, if he ever needs me.. I'll be there for him. Mrs. Roper: You have to be.. we're giving him an American name.. Hawke: What? Mrs. Roper (as she starts to smile): Guess.. Hawke (taken by surprise): No.. Stringfellow's no name for a kid like that.. (Hawke finds the boy and hugs him warmly)
I found out that the trailer with the radar dish that’s seen at 1:03 had also appeared in Knight Rider as the trailer for Goliath I learned this from watching Knight Rider vehicle cameos from the Knight Rider Historians channel on here.
2:06 "Come on, kid! We're heading back for the land of hamburgers & heartburn!" (Does anyone out there get a kick out of that scene? I did!😅) 2:47 "Aw, man! 'The Lady' is gonna kill me...!"
Dont know why this episode go the audio redubed with this version of the airwolf theme. the dvds i have that include this episode have this track but the original version that aired on tv had a different version of the airwolf theme and unlike this version the effects dont sound drowned out.
In fairness not ENTIRELY stupid. 'OK maybe the thing's got armored I'll just shootthe window out even bulletproof glass has its limits. Magdump and that fancy bird's without a pilot.' MeanwhileAirwolf is just hovering there menecingly.
@@AirwolfArchive I'll tell you how: first of all, it always follows same steriotypes: russian soldiers always wear furhats, there's only winter in Russia, the KGB is always villiains, like the Gestapo, the russian soldiers are bunch of maniacs, yadda yadda yadda. Now, the Americans are always good guys, saving pretty girls from commies, defending their so-called "democracy", fighting for the Free World. But in reality United States Army was no better in Vietnam and especially in Grenada: the so-called "liberation" of the island turned to be the biggest failure in military history. Even so, the british governor was so outraged, that he called London, and Reygan then got a wery angry call from prime-minister. And don't even make me start about Afganistan: americans were so laughing about the russians failures, yet ten years later they were in the same shit making even worst mistakes. Who was laughing now? And about this episode: it's sure reminds about Red Dawn, even the villain is the same from that movie. And that's why Cold War propaganda sucks!
Haha, it's a TV show - just mindless entertainment - escapist fantasy, like cars which talked. This was a techno-thriller about a helicopter, and there were so many others with different stories and antagonists. Take a look at Blue Thunder, where ex-Vietnam pilot fights against US military jets and wins. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-O5Bwjn1R7SE.html That movie actually came out first, and this show copied some of their ideas while adding in their own.
Didn't even care if Dick Van Dyke's son was the star of that worst season of the show, that's why the first three seasons of this was childhood memories for me.
