Hawk says these are for light-medium weight cars. Do you think these be appropriate for a C5 Z06 (about 100 lbs more than a Cayman)? It has a stock system right now (new factory rotors aren't slotted or drilled), but it has SS braided lines. I need to drive my car to the track, but don't plan to drive the C5Z on the street all that much. Thanks!

I would run a DTC-60. I'd expect much better results. The C5 is underbraked so the ER-1's may be overwhelmed

With extra caution, do you think the car can be driven to track with these pads on? Not daily but just to drive back and forth to the track.

You can certainly go to the track and back on a race pad. Cold wear from race pads is higher than regualr pads but not instant. Even a few days of regualr driving should not be a huge issue.

How does it compare to the dtc 60 or 70s?

The friction level is just below that of the DTC-60 compound.
