Dude I got some questions for you. I did this swap long before you did but how in the hell did you use the stock canbus gauges with LS? How can I get up with you. I LS swapped a 4 door 4x4 2001 Dakota went from 4.7 to 5.3 and a 4l60e and a NP231c. I have a good bit of info on the 4x4s but I'd like to hear from you on your build maybe help me on the technical side. Ive had mine swapped for over 2 years started back in 2017.
Hell my Instagram add is kimbrocustoms Anyone with info or looking to trade some information on the dakota LS swap hit me up. I'd love to use my stock gauges in the dakota. I blew a transmission later found out it was due to a pocket that developes between the transmission and transfer case for whatever reason. Got that sorted but im having some troubles with the shift linkage and the gauges. I only have drive no 3-2-1. Just be so nice if I could get some extra help and info I put so much money in the truck and I hate to give up on it. It was a super fun truck to drive but I lost a lot of will after that expensive blow up. 10k invested into a truck worth about 3k that I cant even drive without being afraid of something fuckin up

I have put the 5.3 in my 01 dodge Dakota.an I can't get it to start.i have the original wire harness an pcm.i change the cam an crank sensor.still foresnt start.ot cranks no start. No spark no injectors plusing .it's getting fuel to the rails..57 psi .it holds for a long time .12 vts on my very injectors with key on.the ohms are 2 to 3
Yea you could put wings on it and make it fly for enough money to something this requires lots of custom fab and a high mechanical skill level theirs gonna be a lot of custom work these mounts just get you in the door
@edwardrodriguez1909 I don't believe it is currently available. I know he is a member on some dakota groups online but that is likely not all that helpful.
