WNBA Rule No. 12 - Fouls and Penalties, A - Technical Foul, Section V - Conduct, b. "A maximum of two technicals for unsportsmanlike acts may be assessed to any player, coach or trainer. Any of these offenders may be ejected for committing only one unsportsmanlike act, and they must be ejected for committing two unsportsmanlike acts."

The refs definitely called the game in the Aces favor and was wrong for ejecting Hayes. Taurasi shoved a ref and stayed in the game without a technical being called.

all I saw was a ref with an ego, that "thought" she had been disrespected, so she used the full "authority" she perceived she had, to take it out on the player. Glad she's not a cop, probably would have tried to ruin her life by arresting her with some BS charges.

If the players know that accusing a ref of taking a payoff during a game is a violation that results in ejection, well, she risked it and lost. However, the commentary team didn't even know, so it's very possible this could have been handled much better. Even a tech and a time frame to sit out or treat it like a flagrant foul. It seemed extreme, but there is betting on games and they can't afford to have players influencing the bets.

What bs! I think the fact that the ref called this ridiculous foul is suspect, in my opinion. The Aces get a lot of calls, and some of those are, in my opinion silly ticky tack or just bad calls. The Aces are probably the best team in the WNBA. Their players often get the calls, the close calls. I do think a few of the players- Wilson especially- put pressure on refs to make foul calls. That makes this an ironic call. Just my opinion. Yes I am a Sun fan. But most people would have to say this call is absolutely ridiculous.

I'm not a child anymore, so I watch sports so differently. If you are on a team and you want, your team to win, why do this? The consequences haven't changed, call out the ref get ejected, so again why do this? If you do this you won't be able to play with the team, so sometimes regardless of the sport, is this done for TV to create excitement? Is there a problem with the Referees being on the take? Dose the fact that betting on sports is a norm now dose that effect how games are played? Maybe as a player you have an injury, and you don't want everyone to know so this technique might work as well. Football has this thing when you know a player has injured another player on purpose then acts like it was an accident knowing you were requested to do so. It's all like watching the Transformers there is more than meets the eye.......I know athletes get upset and competition to win will result in fights, but sometimes some things seem more, staged for effect.... This for all sports regardless of what gender is playing.... I don't know it seems like you just don't know what is real, or what is just done for profit and ratings.

It is always in the Aces favour in every game. All the players know it and even the commentators know it. It is well know wven if a call is not made and Becky Hamond or other player looks or complains it is always a late foul. It is all the fault of the league they do nothing about it. That is why some teams do not like all the attention on the league now they just have their own shit going on! .

First call on her to kick her, WOW 15 your viewed as a threat girl, you got to remember do your thing even more so now girl especially when the bleachers want you off court than know you are meant to be on. Also refs do cheat, that’s why refs in the past many have been called out, if no cheating was done by the ref here there should’ve been no need to feel insulted by a hand gesture.
