Great stuff! Just what I wanted - my cat5 wasn’t working so bought a HWLAN module - couldn’t get to “wifi bridge” as was showing ethernet connected still. Thanks to you was able to find pw to config wizard and select wifi 😊
I just bought a house with the OmniLogic and I can use the app to control the features wirelessly. It wants a password and the old owner doesn’t remember it. Is there a way to reset the password?
Hi John - me again. Do you know if I need to do any other configuring to get the HWLAN working? I’ve updated the firmware and edited the network config to use the wifi bridge. I get as far as seeing my WiFi network and selecting it. I thought aha - we’re nearly there. However, after entering my WiFi password, it stays “configuring network” for some minutes then says to re-enter the password which I am absolutely sure is correct. Rats! Fallen at the last fence. The HWLAN has a good signal and leds are lit as they should be.
Do you know if/how to limit an OmniLogic smartphone app users ability to only access Simple Mode on the app? We would like to grant a guest user access to heat and spa feature but limit restrict their ability to shut off the filter or chlorinator.
Mine was turned turned on. This is the first night and nothing works. That little panel isn’t on. I didn’t see a switch anywhere to turn it on. Was hoping to see the lights for the first time.
@@JohnThePoolExpertGuy found the problem. The main breaker tripped. The builder said that’s normal. Nonsense. Why did it Trip is the question. I turned the breaker to the gfi plug off and it hasn’t happened again. Once I pass the last inspection it will be moved to a better spot. Here they have to place a plug 6-20’ from the water.
Is this the first set in setting up the computer? I’m asking because our contractor is not answering our calls after we filled the pool with water. He came back to add chemicals but has not shown us how to program the computer or what app to use. Please help. Love your videos! Maria
The WiFi did not connect. I selected WEP so that I could enter the password. I don’t know if this is correct, I was just trying that. Do I need an internet antenna like other systems?
@@MichaelSIUDragon That sounds right WEP is usually the password on the bottom of your router. Sometimes it depends on how far away your router is but you shouldn't need a secondary antenna.
Just had my solar heater panels installed and they left the freeze setting on. I don’t need it because we drained the system. But didn’t know how to turn off the setting and needed the login code. It’s late at night cold and the pool is running and thx for helping
