I have been getting downvoted and called a "FUD-ster" for commenting how concerned I am about the GC progress just dropping off a cliff the way it has, but it's getting hard to deny how telling it is that we're essentially resorting to bribery... we really have to pay people to join the GC? Seriously? Many have been telling themselves that ''they are just being picky since there's only a few spots left''...I think this soundly displays that this is just hopium and Hedera simply hasn't been as well received as everyone hoped. Mance had said multiple times that they thought they'd be further along by now. The only thing on schedule is token dilution. To say nothing of the fact that we still don't have a single paying customer... not one (atma operates on a grant). The temptation to swap my Hbar is getting stronger and stronger because, at this rate, Hedera will not be primed in time for the coming bull run the same way it wasn't ready for the 2021 bull run, hence the humble appreciation that it experienced.
I would agree also that if our pipeline is full why are they giving out $50k when the company is not net positive? If our pipeline was not "full" I could understand.
Not just a Dropp in the. Bucket, but a huge, huge puddle maker. Picturing, puddle, lake, sea, ocean. If your into expansions..that is how I look at it. Appreciate the panel. Love the content. Thanks
I was part of that phase 2 testing where we pulled up articles and paid H-bar to read them and then got paid more H-bar back. I ended up with 250 of them and I could hardly sleep that night. I was so excited. Now, five years later I’m short on patience but hanging in there.
For Rob: I have been a hedera enthusiast for well over 3 years now and always make sure everyone around me take some time to research on it as well as become and investor like me. I'm a chef and thinking of starting my own restaurant soon and have always had this curiosity on whether tokenization will work within the food industry and how this can be achieved in a real world. My imagination wonders into pre-ordering take away food and drinks through tokenization and having a system in place to back all this up. I would love to see this happen or could be a chance to develop an app to support this matter maybe?
I do not really understand the fuss surrounding the possible bonus award of 50k when a new council member is successfully acquired. As Brandon already indicated, several entities are working on recruiting and 50k is just a bonus for getting a council member over the line after a very long process. Who cares about 50k when it motivates employees extra and possibly contributes to acquiring new council members such as Microsoft or Apple? Exactly, no one at all! The added value that such companies can offer to the Hedera ecosystem exceeds 50k in a multiple that cannot even be properly expressed here. Keep looking at the BIGGER picture folks!
My thoughts exactly. Might be the difference between someone staying on the normal path, or checking with his neighbor who he heard was acquaintances with Elon Musk and ends up being instrumental in getting Tesla on board. The employee may be well motivated already. But this gets them thinking outside the box.
@HederaForum proven technology shouldn't need to pay someone to get paid. question brandon you should be asking is will they bring any value to hedera and what value would that be? 😉 🤔 👌 🤷
running a node means they are receiving rewards for running that mining node and that is it. they are not using hedera network for business transactions. please let this be made clear to retail investors. Thank you!
Not going to happen, they have amazing Tech and ROADMAPS too ...I love HBAR, however unfortunately the Legacy Banks and Wall Street are in the process of taking over Web 3 and Blockchain
Just wondering whether enterprises that apply for council membership but don't make the grade are earmarked to run a validator node? Some companies may be rejected full-blown council membership for any number of factors: size, over-representation, no usecase in mind etc, but would be capable validator node operators 🤔
Hey Brandon I work for the UK government and manage adoption of private housing development infrastructure into public maintenance. One of the issues we struggle with is land registry. It can take 9 months to formally register land with a new owner. Hedera could solve this but I'm not sure how to pitch a POC. Any suggestions?
Great use case. Hoping to add that “the truth layer” seems poised to help with a lot of the gridlock caused by bureaucracy. The first DLT Dapp to revolutionize record keeping in government should stretch those tax dollars while further enhancing accountability. Time stamps for deadlines, ledger entries for immutable record keeping, more efficient data retrieval. We fear the implications of DLT on ‘big brother’ level behavior, but the ledger could help in both directions, keeping our elected officials honest. Imagine if any small gov’t/ municipality created a publicly accessible ledger that everyone could trust?
Brandon- greatly appreciate your videos. Gives me many avenues for my own due diligence. Question for you and Rob: how big is the chasm separating HBAR from being part of everyday retail purchasing and allowing us to scan a phone app rather than swipe a credit card? I realize the card infrastructure is the incumbent and difficult to supplant, but there are billions of businesses that can’t wait to see that 2 to 3% credit card fee be replaced with $0.0001. Talk about a catalyst for mass adoption. It would set the business world on fire, although I can’t imagine that VISA, Mastercard, AMEX and Discover would go down without a fight.
Hey brandon, why doesn't hedera create a telegram group? even though the community is strong if there is a chat group on Telegram and it is more effective than Discord

I just don’t think you’re concern is correct. I understand why you have it, but I don’t think there is any issue with the pipeline. There are several entities working on recruiting and 50k is just a nice bonus for getting a council member over the line which is a very long process. I remember when time to consensus finality went from 4.5 at open access seconds to 7 seconds as we added nodes. People were understandably concerned, myself included. Leemon said it wasn’t an issue and would be addressed. This didn’t quell fears and there were plenty of comments on social media. I took a wait and see approach. A few months later we were back at open access levels, now we’re a second below those levels. Mance talked about a single use case causing 1 billion transactions per month in 2021, it was atma, but he didn’t mention that at the time. It was delayed, but here we are processing a billion per week! Point being when Mance and Leemon say something, they mean it. They are honest men, far more than most in the space. I understand why you doubt, but I don’t and a council member recruitment bonus doesn’t bother me in the least. Also I was talking to a person familar with all this and they said ‘do we really want to add council members now, wouldn’t it be better to have council members announced in a bull?’ Again, I understand your concern, but give it time and see how it turns out and maybe it’ll add some trust in the future.
@@HederaForum I think we have been a bit too hard on campbell in the past, I apologize. It's his investment too he has the right to voice his concerns. However kindness is the key to resolution not anger.
@@IsawCHRIST I hope I didn’t seem unfair above. His concern is valid. There are many who complain that frankly shouldn’t be in this market at this point of maturity.
@@HederaForum not at all, just saying we all should be kind to each other as human beings. please understand we can't pick and choose who should or shouldn't be in this market. people worked hard for their money should be free open to ask questions as they are concerned about the future of their investment. in order for mass adoption we must welcome all walks of life.
Well, I don’t work for an insurance company directly but i do work for a medical solution company, we are the middle men between insurance, workers comp and patients, we basically are a logistical company that provide transportation to the patients. I work in the billing department not the business development department, but if you could give me any potential ideas i can pitch it to my manager.
When you lose positions in ranking it's down trend... Hedera it's fast when drop and slow/weakest, when all market go up. It's not a problem here Brandon? 🤔 In my opinion Hedera already lost the start... 😢
HBAR has dropped one spot from 31 to 32 on Coin Gecko. It was ~40 at the start of the year. You only focus on negative developments ignoring the positive. I’ve addressed you in comments and in my show. Yet you never answer my questions. Why do you pay so close attention to Hedera? Do you own HBAR? When did you get involved?
@@HederaForum Already dropped more than one and will continue 🙃 You said that Solana cannot compete with Hedera 🤣 Solana has millions of fans and supporters and sponsors/investors/money already flow to Sol community 💪 And understand that: no one sells what has value, example Btc and Sol Look at chart, Hbar it's OVERSOLD! 🤫 And don't have fans And don't have marketing And don't have communication/speaker
@@HederaForum You put a Tweet on 16 August @Sol can't compete with @Hbar. At this moment Sol whas 20$ and Hbar 0,07 now Sol is 33$ and Hbar 0,052 🤔 No coment 🤫
@@HederaForum Disparaging with what? It's already drop down 2 positions in marketcap ranking and next week will lose another minimum ones. You will see 🤫
me and MANY holders are growing exhausted by the nothingness of this project/crypto we are hearing alot of yada but are seeing very little progress that equivilates into movement in price and value.@@HederaForum
What is slow about 1200% gains back in 2021? It rips just like the others. I like what Hedera has been developing and not hyping. Transparency and security are big qualities for me.
