She's so old hollywood. The way she stands on stage and talks to Dave after the performance felt straight off a sixties variety show.

That's how angels sing.

She's not a performer like Beyoncé or Ariana. She's just a singer and that's all she needs to be because the music speaks for itself.

Honestly why are people saying this performance is bad? She sounded lovely here and sounded very close to how it is on the album.

I like that she doesn't sing a song the same each time. She changes it up live. It makes me love her even more.

I hate that Americans tore apart her SNL performance and her live shows in general.. everyone is so used to loud gospel voices and loud warbling vocals in general they don't get the softer the thing... if there's not crazy choreography and lots going on they're bored and not impressed. If you see Lana concerts, the audience ALL sings it back to her. Her songs are slower and are meant to be sung and listened closer to for their lyrics more like 70s folk music.

I love that she "got right back on the horse" after her rough SNL performance just a week or so before this and knocked it out of the park here. And I love that Letterman gave her the venue to redeem herself. Just a great moment all-around

Lana is a gentle singer she and needs a good mic and a good band who doesn't drown her out . A perfect example is Melody Gardot. She is literally the best vocalist of our time( besides Kovacs) and she suffers from light and sound Sensitivity so she sings quietly and has a powerful mic and respectful band . Well done Lana!

I've watched this performance long ago, only posted by another user and was a different video, so I'm just going to say this again. I admire her so much. She is so beautiful to me, I love how emotional and passionate she is when it comes yo her music and performances. It really touches me heart deeply. Her music really is something that inspires me, to know there is so much beauty in this world. I'm so glad to have discovered her. It's always been a part of me ever since. So thank you so much Ms Lana Del Rey. I may not know you in person, but you mean a lot to me, and that's when you know you truly love someone; when you won't get any recognition but yet to love someone unconditionally. People keep talking about how Lana is a marketed product and how she isn't a real singer. I just don't get why the music industry would put that much effort into marketing such a talentless girl when there are plenty of talented people out there who 'can sing live' and are dying to sell. They do it because she is a very gifted musician, who continues to come up with beautiful compositions and is maturing at performing live, even though i think she was pretty good from the beginning. I'm sorry but 'real' doesn't mean anything. On a certain level, we all handle our image, and the way we handle it expresses a lot about us. Lana handles her own in a way that expresses best her inner self. Not everything is handled by 'the industry'. People are not so dumb, they relate to a song, to lyrics, to a person and that's how a singer is loved. Give the public some credit.

People bash her and say she's awful and a nobody, but people need to actually take a second to look under the surface. Lana had a hard life, she was a very troubled person and she made it out of work and dedication unlike a lot of the nobodys in the world of music. She has a style that is not very common. It is a style you must adapt to. But she is an artist. Maybe instead of judging the sound, you should listen to the lyrics and the artistry in her writing. She says she's a poet and her lyrics have a lot of meaning. She writes her music, and she shares her story to everyone within her lyrics. Her music is not meant to be jump up and down artificial crap. She even knows she doesn't have the best voice, but she sings because it is what really makes every single word she sings and every song she writes her own. It is a troubled soul using the gift of music to tell a story. So please, before you hate on her, try not to judge above the surface and be hard headed. For once, look deeper and listen. I mean truly listen. And maybe you people who hate will understand why she is an artist and is extremely talented. You'll understand why she made it and why people love and respect her music.

I love her voice. She´s shy and seems nervous when she was performing especially during the "Born To Die" era. I like her because she´s unique and there´s not a lot of singers that reminds me of her. No one that can take away the special quality that Lana Del Rey has within her voice, her image and the fact that she´s so beautiful. :)

Shes one of the best singers of this time. Her haunting sound just hits the soul.
