That you figured out how to bypass HDCP on an Elgato device is pretty fucking unbelievable. You should test this with one of the 4k enabled card like the HD60X. If it works on current products Elgato might even offer you a bounty for telling them about this
I have my stuff wired uniquely. Do you have anything like Reddit or discord I could message you on? I think if I explain how I have my stuff wired, you can help me better. Because if you tell me how to do it strictly through the TV I think I’m gonna get confused.
Not looking for 4K but I have 1 hdmi port for a tv. I have a 4 port switcher but thanks to hdcp my cable box gets error along with an old dvr recorder. I need to run the cable box, dvr & firestick. What's out there to bypass hdcp?
the alienware monitors i purchased have issue on Macbook air 2015 there are black borders on my monitor. I'm looking for a solution cheap. i wonder if it's CEC issue or a splitter that can cause mac to only recognize as a tv. not a monitor... help!
I bought a device that will dejudder 24fps movies supposedly. My olde stutters and dont want to use interpolation. Cant test it because of hdcp. My tv amd blu ray player are 2.1.

I was using the OREI 1x2 for years and completely happy with it. After being powered on 24/7 for all those years it finally died on me. Using my Amazon history, I ordered the same exact unit to replace it, or so I thought. The new one had a copy/auto switch that the old one did not. Unfortunately I can’t get rid of the HDCP errors on the new one that didn’t exist with the old one after every possible configuration. I think I’ll try my luck with a different brand.
Hey Samson, remember me? I need your help with an issue I’m running into. When I try to record… say… Hulu through my capture card it stutters a little. Kinda like a frame rate loss or something. I’m using the same HDMI Splitter as you per your recommendation. I’m using a Roku though instead of a PS4 or PS5. anything you can think of as to why this is happening??
I love jumping through hoops and spending excessive amounts of money on the worst movies in all of cinematic history. Can’t believe I used to just put my laserdisc into the tray and instantly enjoy great quality movies with competent acting and production. 🤦🏾♂️ You learn.
Same with fucking netflix. I paid for the service and i cant use it. They are pushing people into piracy because its more convenient and works better then the legitimate hdcp crap.
