Changing out the ph2 connections for a bt2.0 or gnb27 will result in better voltage and current. Ph2.0 gives about 8-9amps and gnb27 12-13amps on mob6. Battery sag reduces and flight handling improves as voltage decreases with that simple connection change.

I've had a similar jittery quadcopter once, 3" toothpick. Balancing the props on a sewing needle and shaving off little bits of plastic with a nail file helped it immensely. No amount of pid and filter tuning got rid of it otherwise. Just something to try out, maybe it helps, maybe it doesn't.

This looks awesome, can't wait to see how the goggles are. My OH asked why I needed a whoop and why couldn't I fly my 3.5inch indoors, so I gave her a demonstration and whilst explaining how dangerous it is managed to fly it straight into my hand and also cut open one of my fingers :) there's a reason women tend to live longer than men.

Awesome. I have a brand new DarwinFPV Baby Ape waiting for this system to ship. Thanks for taking the time to get the quad fixed because the smooth footage and improved settings really made a huge difference. Carl is doing a great job with the hardware but I really hope other manufacturers start making HDZero stuff too and show us new directions. How about an HDZero split with 4K recording!

I have a BetaFPV FC like that. It has the exact same issue though not as severe on a 3" toothpick I built. It will just randomly twitch while flying. At first I thought it was wind gusts until I flew it on a calm day with the exact same results.

How would you rate the image quality of the nano in the goggles compared to the Micro V2? I have two 3 inch builds waiting on the new whoop vtx but I am undecided on which camera to go with.

You might want to check your sample rate. I once ended up with a quad set to 4k and changing it to 8k fixed it. Just throwing that out there.

I normally fly analogue at 400mw in heavily treed areas where I need good penetration. I'm assuming this is a 200mw vtx and is there any reason to believe that you need to same power analog or hdzero to achieve the same penetration?

I thought the betafpv 95x came with 1106 3800kv motors. Also, doesn’t that fc with the jitter have the bmi270 gyro? Isn’t there something different with betaflight with that gyro, filters-wise?

I just got my goggle and this vtx. When scanning the goggles won’t pick up any signal. Bothe the goggles and vtx are updated. I’m new to this system and getting very frustrated. Could you please give me some ideas. Blue and red light will blink at first but then it’s just the solid red light.

Too heavy (even without shielding) for a 65 or 75mm whoop, but may be great on a 1s toothpick.

It looks like there is a spare UART so you should be able to use that. You will just need to disable the VTX.

Tbh I don’t discuss range as I’m in a 25mw area. The overall performance on the VTX will be antenna dependant but the same as ther other 200mw models.

I did not appreciate as much the clarity I would have expected from HD. I understand the specs are compromised to fit in a small package but to me the video quality is just a very small step up from analog. Maybe if I had a side by side example with analog I could see the clarity better - also maybe the clarity is lost when downloading it from the DVR? Is it more clear in the goggles? Nice review.

I bet if you used jesc 48 v2.3 w/tel (or bj) and dynamic idle off motor idle 7.75-8.25 under the poles tab/box and bf rc3 or rc7 on defaults! try your rates only if needed Ps. Raise the idle until it's floaty and back off to taste

That camera isn't the best but can't complain with the weight savings.. & a thousand times better than analog. & thousand times lighter than dji
