Your dad is such a natural teacher that even though he is not used to being in front of a camera his teaching is so easy for him. Would like to see him working with other golfers. You’re swing is already pretty nice.
Your dad is an absolute golf geek, the detailed explanation, the small and concise changes he tells you to do, and the big results you get by listening to him. Superb. We really wanna see him more around. Maybe a round with the new Mizuno clubs you bought him...!
I’d love to see more of your dad on the channel, I not only think he helps your golf game but all of ours as well, he’s a wealth of knowledge about the game. Plus I just like the idea of you guys spending quality time together, not that you don’t already but getting out and playing golf with your dad is just awesome.
It's an awesome relationship you seem to have with your father, would love to see more of it on the channel. Great video as always, love it. Happy belated Father's day to you dad as well!
By far my favorite video you've done on this channel. Getting to pick up on pieces on info from an OG like you pops is sweet, glad you guys are planning to do more videos together.
This is the Master and the Padawan. Your Dad is a wonderful teacher, and so are you. it all makes sense to see where it comes from. Really lovely video.
Really felt the first part of this video on wedges. I used to flip my hands at all my clubs and I had little to no height control. I performed pretty well in highschool golf but it was because I had a really really good short game. I graduated in 2018 and earlier this year I decided I wanted to start improving again. About 5 months of range sessions later I'm finally rotating correctly and covering the ball nicely with my wedges. I have a lot of height control over my wedges now and am incredibly pleased with how good of a wedge player it has made me. Unfortunately my short game has been in shambles since I graduated as I no longer have multiple hours a day to practice my chipping. There's a lot of great advice in this video and I would really encourage anyone who is struggling with their wedges to try to work on what Mr. Horvat is teaching here.
Great Video.... Your Dad is a natural teacher, and explains things in a clear and easy to understand way. It would be great to see more of these types of videos...
I have learned so much just from your dad simply explaining fundamentals. Love seeing you post vids with him and would love to see him mess with some other good good members
Grant. The wisdom of your dad is so amazing. Little comments here and there. Thank you for sharing his golf knowledge with us. I would love to see more tips from your dad. What about a book. Pictures on tops to draw, chip, pitch, low , high shots. The comments on finish with hands high and low and driver hands back and forward is so good. More please. We must learn more from his knowledge.
There's nothing better than hearing someone talk who knows every inch of a golf swing and how to make it work. What an asset to have a dad that has that knowledge.
Heck yeah would love to see your pops more! Seems like a great human being first then very knowledgeable of the golf swing! My dad got me into golf 35 years ago. He's been gone almost 3 years and we all miss him very much! Great content young man!
Hell Yeah Grant! Daddy Good Good approved! He seems like such a genuinely great man and can tell you guys have a special bond. Great to see you guys together and look forward to seeing more. 👍🏼
My goodness I wish I had anyone in my life with that much knowledge about golf!! No wonder you’re a walking golf encyclopedia I also enjoy your dad acknowledging the audience!
We get caught up with the new trends in the swing so much that sometimes we forget about the basics. Teachers that have been around the game for a long time like your dad are always good about knowing it can be as simple as ball position at setup. Awesome stuff
I think I just learned more about a golf swing from your pops then any other video I’ve watched lol he def needs to be on more! Incredible to see the small changes make a big impact great video!
It’s very special to see you and your Dad practising and discussing the game. Keep up your faith, and your intuition building your career and online presence; you’re doing amazing my friend.
I think it's really cool that you brought your dad on the channel again. Golf is beautiful when it's multi-generational. I played at Payne's Valley yesterday, and in my group were a boy, his dad AND his grandfather. Very special.
What a great thing to be able to be able to lean on your Dad for input. love to see the repour you two have. hopefully you cherish these moments Mr and Mr Horvat.
Great vid as always! And yes...MORE OF YOUR DAD! DUDE ROCKS! You are Blessed! P.S. Suggestion: Video of your Dad giving each of The Good Good Bros a lesson...We all could benefit! Pace the lessons though for Dad...He needs his down time...He's earned it! Just look at Grant's SWING! Peace-Out!
You have an awesome resource in your dad that everyone watching your channel could benefit from! I’d say lessons from dad should be a definite reoccurring episode!
Grant Horvat Golf the videos with your Dad are amazing. Seeing you light up from your Dad's 50+ years of wisdom... priceless. I wish I could take a lesson from him. Is he still a teaching pro? Lastly, ball position is a huge issue for me (like most golfers). I was watching an Adam Scott video a few weeks ago, and he's practicing on the range with his coach, and he let a friend of his watch/film. The guy asked Adam what he works on most. Adam said, "ball position, making sure I stand the same distance away from the ball every time, we keep an eye on my grip, and tempo. That's pretty much it." I'm paraphrasing a bit, but not too much. Solid fundamentals let us stripe the ball, as you are. Well done!
Great instruction-minor adjustments that make a big difference from ball flight to less spin. Thanks Grant and Dad, please have pops come on your channel more.
that makes so much sense about having the ball more forward in the stance! I put my ball far back into my stance and I also tend to hit my short irons to the right!
Great tip on the hybrids being 1-2 degree closed! Explains why I tend to draw them too far left when teed up. I'll open the face slightly going forward and should get better results! Also, like his explanation on why your wedges seem to miss right. Excellent video!!
Seeing how close of a bond you guys have over something you guys both love makes me so happy… don’t take it for granted man a lot of people don’t have that luxury
great video I've went and tried these tips from your dad and WOW what a difference. Thank you and your dad for the awesome tips. I love your channel. Keep up the great work brother!
thx for having ole papa bear on Grant...that tip w the hands behind ball to start to fade the ball is the tip iv been waiting for!!! would love to learn more!!!!
These videos are awesome grant, your dad seems like an amazing person and father. His way of teaching has totally rubbed on you, you and him are smooth with it!
Very cool hearing your dad's wisdom! No wonder you are the player you are. My father was a scratch player, if not a +1 or 2, and he taught me a lot. What a blessing.
I thought of this video while I was hitting balls today. The tip about staying over the ball, and finishing high to hit high really helped my swing it felt so much different and more controlled. Far less mishits today. Your channel is slowly transforming my swing.
I think this should be a series. Hell, I think you and you're dad together would make an incredible team for GG labs. He could be big on RU-vid because of his passion for teaching and experience. Not to mention you carry the understanding of the swing that you got from him, and are both able to explain it so the rest of us can understand. Big ups for your dad. And I would personally love to see more content from him in some fashion.
I’m in okeechobee and working at the Nuke in Port Saint Lucie for 4 months. I golfed at indianwood the other day and golfed +9 which is the best I’ve ever scored solo before. Would love to be able to meet you guys on good good and see you play some golf live. You guys really got me back into golf. Keep up the great work man, great content.
What an expert. It’s so challenging to see what someone is doing wrong and they ask you what happened 🤷🏻♂️. Really enjoyed your dad hitting us with some knowledge.
