Committ a robbery with toy guns, make people think you killed a hostage, hide somewhere in the bank, give a Diamond to the detective by respects, refuse to engage further
@@youraveragerankc3946 this comment is honestly, no joke, cringe. Also the spoiling of the end was kept minimal as possible; not much you can get from this sentence that spoils the ending as well. Another thing to add is that you shouldn't go into a comment section before a video ESPECIALLY to a goddamn movie recap SO even if he did spoil the ending then you're in the wrong here. P.S consider yourself countered
The Denzel cop is shown to be corrupt when he accepts a stolen diamond at the end. So the early accusation against him of having stolen money was probably true.
@@nathanford2072 It's very much implied all those diamonds, like the ring, were extorted from jews. Also Denzel kept quiet about the bankrobber who planted the diamond on him.
I don’t think corrupt is a case for this one. In fact, the robbers were probably vigilantes because their main goal wasn’t actually to rob a bank just to cash in, but to expose the owner for his crimes which led investigators to the founder. So in a way, I can guess that he kept it as a thanks for the robbers to exposing heinous crimes as the founder got blood money from the Nazis, a much less moral crime. Plus, he also can tell their kind hearts and that none of the hostages were hurt, but fellow robbers did posing as hostages. A clever way, and probably need a bit of teamwork.
Villains are not ones in the bank but outside it plus bank robberies are smart well planned common sense thinking not being greed but being reasonable about it
@@jermaineperry8860 oh you were referring to these robbers from the movie specifically. I get you... Thought you were talking about bank robbers in general
Fun Fact for Indian viewers🇮🇳 This movie used Bollywood song "_CHHAIYA CHHAIYA_" in the opening scenes and in the ending of the movie. Reason being that the director of this movie really liked this song😍

Not necessarily... Dalton knocked out the Cams about a couple of good mins before the rest of the crew came into the bank. I imagine at least a few customers would've still be going in & out by the time shit went down.
This is one of the best bank heist in a movie I've ever seen. I wish I would've stopped the recap and watched the movie. But there's so many types of movies I figured it was the usual typical bank heist, but this had a little more flare. There wasn't all these technology gagets, making everything overly complicated. Or this elaborate application interviews and process of elimination of professional criminals, that were the best in their field. There wasn't a lot of violence needed to make sure the hostages complied. They all understood the assignment and didn't have any urges of trying to play the hero. It was all done with smoke and mirrors. Another highlight was that the crook's basically paper-mached a temporary "build-a-bunker". I like how the agent wasn't on this do the right thing kick, and go by the book by arresting the authority figures, that tried to blackmail him. He did tit for tat, played them at their own game and gave them a taste of their own medicine. Once he accomplished getting his career promotion,he accepted the little diamond payoff. He had some respect for how well the criminals planned the entire thing, and just dropped the investigation. He just left it as a "well played" moment.
I liked how he struggled on the name Bill. But yet flawlessly pronounced the police captains name Mattias. I feel like the struggle should've been real, trying to pronounce that one over just plain ol simple Bill. I mean...for the love of the lord, man,it's only 4 freaking letters.😂
I watched about a minute and saw already a lot of things that wouldn't make this even remotely possible in the real life. 1. Why didn't bank workers questioned randomly walking in painters. 2. The Security guard is always on the look out when outside contractors are doing anything in the bank. 3. Tellers either already turned on the alarm or they will do so after the robbers leave, depends on the bank. 4.NYPD officer should call fire department, he can't know it is a robbery.
Do yourself a favor and watch the movie first before every watching the recap . You would have missed out on one of the top 5 best bank heist movie of all time in my opinion
oh yeah i hvae watched this movie, it was such a great twist at the end! he already said he will be front of him but he will not know and he proved it!
This movie is like a battle of who can outwit who: an INTJ strategist with incredible foresight vs INTP analytical pattern solver. It's the ultimate battle of intuitives, one who is Ni dominant and the other who is Ne dominant. Love it!
this movie was good and then Netflix had to go and try to make a sequel but with Dolton's sister and apparently SHE was the master mind behind the bank robbery not Dolton. it was essentially like Ocean's 8....
how about just checking CCTV for all the people who entered the bank for the robbery and then picking out those who don't appear in the footage? oh, the whole script suddenly becomes useless, right?
