I've heard Ren say he rehearses until he can do it in his sleep, then he usually does 12-15 takes and he chooses the one he likes best. (HI REN only had 4 takes because the landlord threw them out of the basement, and MONEY GAME PT. 1 took 186 takes over six days because it was their first complex one-shot and they kept coming up with new ideas.) I've also heard him say he never likes to do a song the same way twice in performance. Keep up the great reactions!

Ren doing Ren things. There’s just such a beautiful freedom and playfulness about his live versions and even if some of it is completely spontaneous it all still sounds so damn good. The man has music in every fibre of his body and soul. Also if you want more of that I think you would really enjoy his busking with Sam Tompkins where they improvise around Stevie Wonder. So much fun.

I have never thought of this song as heavy. I always laugh at the official video and this version leaves me in awe every time. It's stupendous. Makes me want to get into a car and blast this out to share with the world. (Something I have never done in all my years!) Hi Ren was 4 takes and Money game 1 was something like 130 plus takes. He is a perfectionist.

Them there are the Hollywood Hills in LA. Separating the valley for LA. I think those are up Laural Canyon Dr just up Vineland blvd. But he could be a little more west from there. but yeah he's in Cali. Given the Sky he probably nailed this in 1 or 2 takes as you only get about 20 minutes of sunset.
