Lets be honest, his audience is probably from 6 to 12 years old, who most likely have watched those head things coming out of the toilets and try to replicate it, so yeah they're probably even less human than AI , because even the AI itself tries to replicate human feelings while being unable to
It’s very telling that the narrative around AI isn’t “it’s a handy tool that can be used to assist with all kinds of problems” but is instead “it’s something that can replace human labor in many fields.”
yeah thats the narrative for ignorant people. every time its been used to completely replace people it has failed pretty miserably. this guy is still recording and editing videos, he is just putting AI dialogue and face rigging on it, and it sucks. no on beyond super young children who don't know better would be able to enjoy this content, all successful uses of AI come from using it as a tell to assist humans who are doing the majority of the work, because AI isn not conscious, it cannot organize anything larger than a single image, or a few paragraphs of dialogue, that stuff has to be edited and implemented by humans. and the TTS thing and the face rigging actually aren't AI unless you think apps like talking tom count as AI, which would be silly.
The funniest part is... this shit isn't even remotely "intelligent". This "ai" or artificial intelligence is basically just a fat ass data-base. Plus a few instructional programs on how to use said data. But all this nonsense people carry on about ai being the next huge thing (it is definitely a threat to the creative industry sadly though... simply by flooding the "market") A basic example (which may be outdated of course by now) would be ai drawings of characters. They have no idea what any part of the person they're making an image of is. And so, when they make hands for example, it really shows that the developers haven't worked out how the ai should interpret all the data of hands (and most parts honestly). If the supposed ai had even a semblance of a clue of what it was doing... well... these mistakes would not be happening to begin with. I believe that the term "Artificial Intelligence" has become sort of a buzz word akin to that of "smart" from a few years ago. It is impressive, surely, and it completes more complex tasks than the previous things we've had... but to call it smart, or intelligent is flat wrong.
Yes, but replacing human labor isn't THE problem, is it? If a machine can do it for us, while we can enjoy life and be creative, then what's the problem? The problem is our economic system that, while we have more than enough resouces, if you don't work, you don't eat.

@@thehoodieguy1341as he said, she’s living proof that it really doesn’t take a lot to be rich. Just let go of everything that makes you, you. Fall into the regime of what the biggest audience is, and what they want and how easy it is to play into their needs. Kids are so easy to make content for. YT had to update their TOS because of how much money these kid content creators were making. Millions a month depending on how many videos were uploaded a day.
Governments all around the world should pass a law regarding A.I. that is every A.I. generated photos and videos should have a mandatory badge that says 'A.I. generated' not conforming to which lands you into penalties or jail time . This should be done before this gets out of hand and becomes dangerous towards personal identities and such issues .
More laws are not the answer here or in many cases, it's a fallacy that has no legitimacy in reality. slapping a new law on to something may sound good in theory, it lacks substance in fact. in reality people only follow so called law due to illogical fear. in the AI context, there could never be enough resources to be able to successfully enforce such a thing. Let’s take Hitler as an example, Hitler was able to control an entire population though information by getting people to believe he had information on everyone when in truth, he only had information on about 10% of the people, the rest was all illusion and fear-based propaganda, sadly propaganda is ever so present in the global media today why? Because it works, humans it seems are extremely slow to learn from our past histories. A lie can travel around the globe while the truth is still tying its shoes. Evolution and change are a never-ending cycle, in general human’s dislike change and will resist it until they eventually will learn to except it. AI like it or not is here to say, I predict it will only become ever more common place in the not-so-distant future. Hollywood for example is currently coming to an end mostly because people are sick and tired of the WOKE mob that is attempting to gain control of the entirety of the human experience. Will it work? This is the question, in some ways probably, in other ways, it will be faced with much resistance and fail at least in part. laws are just a construct of someone elses idea's compliance will be up to the individual. live free or die is the MOTTO
I've never seen someone go to such extraordinary lengths to do absolutely nothing. bros working harder at doing nothing than he would be just being a normal youtuber.
fr hes just lazy and doesnt wanna do the work himself. anyone can do a youtuber like charlie was sqying, jordi seems like he wants to keep making money while not working
What's funny is the fact that it's able to almost perfectly replicate HIS content in specific says less about the complexity of the ai and more about how dogwater and surface level his content was.
you say his content but his content isn't that different from a lot of other content creators. It's not like other lets players are doing deep dives into some indie games core mechanics and honestly no 12 year old would watch that. Yeah kids watch things that are simple and surface level, they're kids.
@@Zanaki113shit have seen the American education system? Those kids (and yes i say kids bc there's no way adults watch this shit) will watch anything loud obnoxious and full of color. He’s really cracked the code though, taking advantage of the parents who smack an iPad in their kids’ faces rather than raise them normally, and he can now pump out videos without even having to sit down and make them, so he’s essentially making passive income for free
Agreed, while it's kind of unethical, quantity over quality is always what the kids want. I'm quite sure that in a few months, Kwebbelkop isn't gonna be the only one doing this.
@@HighEffortTrash I'm not sure if it's unethical, or more unethical than our economic system itself. He's using his own image, people watch if they want. This is what capitalism is all about.

Bro I’m a business major in college and hearing you talk about barriers to entry so fluently was freaking so cool. I’m nerding out rn but man it just made me respect your intelligence even more
I think the most hilarious thing about Ai generated content is that the people making the Ai content will inevitably get too lazy to actually watch and moderate the content, or develop an Ai that does that for them too. This is where we’re gonna end up with a 48 hour “charity” livestream where the Ai randomly goes off on some racist rant 6 hours in and gets the creator banned
I saw a comment somewhere else that said something similar, people could just use whatever AI tool he's using and turn that against him by making AI videos of him saying or doing some really fucked up shit and it would be indistinguishable from his content itself, say his channel got hacked then someone could literally post a video as if they were him but make it some really deplorable shit and get him banned for life Edit: just for clarification I never stated we should actually do this, by no means is it okay to hack someone's channel and post videos acting as if you're them... this should be kinda obvious but I just wanna state that for the record in case some asshat goes and actually does this, it was merely an example of what could happen with that AI tech
Both things are already happening 😂 there are AI tools that edit your content already, although not sure if it can do it live. And also there were some streams that got taken down for saying stuff and it was done using AI
Its so strange how some youtubers (for me its majority) that we used to watch while growing up just fall off, and we'd just suddenly hear about them from a drama beef.. its really sad..
i remember there was that one vtuber neuro, but at least the "technician" is right beside his tool to roleplay and make corrections instead of just doubling down on replacing the human factor
I'm glad Charlie points out how it's super easy to become a content creator, especially in todays landscape. Now being a GOOD creator is a different story.
I mean that's honestly an incredibly based approach. If you really believe AI to take your job anyways, you might as well be the guy making the money off of it. Even though I don't agree with Kwebbelkop one bit, I gotta respect the hustle.
@@KrunschyThe hustle to be lazy? You didn’t know if AI was gonna be possible beforehand. Now he stamped the possibility that it will happen by contributing his whole channel. Making content without doing a damn thing. It’s pathetic

@Alex-zp3kxfirst of all, you mean better, “gooder” is not a word, second, you used the 💀 emoji wrong, third, Charlie is a GOD, you are no match for him, even if you fight, you still can’t win.
Good point. Maybe what's coming is an AI that analyzes, let's say the top 50 most popular youtubers, and then generates a whole new character based on a blend of those. Sort of like how most ai artwork has a certain recognizable popular style, but no single artwork can be traced to a particular person, It will have PewDiePie's cheekbones and Ludwig's hair or whatever. It will do easily replicated content like Dhar Mann, or goofy life hacks. If it doesn't succeed, roll a new random seed and try again. I can see some company with serious money investing in this, because if they can get it to work just once, they'll be able to flood RU-vid with several channels. None of them individually needs to be as big as charlie, just an ocean of little channels cranking out junk content.
@@creedolala6918I disagree. I think as we see RU-vid become flooded with A.I you’ll see it become more too heavy because people will want to see people talk instead of A.I. Excluding kids.
for some reason i find Ai to be very fascinating. A machine doing human tasks and is sometimes better than humans is something to uphold. how far we have come in recent years and how far will we go.@@creedolala6918
@@ry1023.3 well the nice thing about RU-vid is that if and human else does the type of video you like even 5% better, you can just switch to them. You just have to find them in the ocean of bots. No, it may take a while for you to do it but you can do it without hours of content. Maybe easier to lets say have Jacksepticeye AI generated (I just thought of something, someone could make younger jack model, or pewds and make them say some horrid shit)
Not being part of the stream where Charlie originally talked about this, did anyone mention how freaky the eyes/eyebrows were on that abomination? This is actually crazy. Imagine being so bold! To just say, “yea...I just don’t care about making quality content I just care about making money. Deal with it” is really something.
Charlie's metaphor for his milking thing is so true Even after months and months of dedication to "improving" the AI, Kwebbelcop still has to keep feeding it his info to keep it running Keep in mind, his reason for starting this was because streaming made him "too tired"
@Maximilian1990 Dunno where you got that interpretation of what I said The results are still not great, and even to keep this barely mediocre performance up, Kwebbelcop still has to keep feeding it info so it doesn't fall apart Point is, Kwebbelcop better have made some smart investments, otherwise he's gonna have to cut back on some personal expenses in the future if he wants to keep this nonsense up
I imagine the reason he thinks AI can replace him is because AI can’t struggle to replicate his personality when he has the personality of stale bread.
@@SnailHatanYou neglect to mention the fact he built up that audience over the course of several years by **checks better notes** making actual content.
this unlocked a memory, i remember this dude. id watch him and his friends Jelly and Slogo all the time like 7 years ago. what a bummer that youtube and content has before. truly so soulless and sad.
Does Kwebblekop not realize how dangerous it is for him to give so much of his data to AI? Because he's doing this it'd be so easy to create videos of him saying horrific things.
Moreso to the point, I wonder if he realizes and fully appreciates that 100% of his AI content is NOT PROTECTED BY ANY COPYRIGHT? Yep, it's true. Any content generated by AI is NOT afforded any copyright protection whatsoever. So in theory, someone can take that AI generated content and do whatever the Hell they want to do with it and there isn't a damn thing that he can do about it because he admits himself that it is ALL AI GENERATED. I am seriously waiting for someone to take his AI generated "content" and use it for any other purpose than what was initially intended for the sole reason of poking him with a stick to provoke him to TRY and copystrike the content, or to sue for copyright infringement. I seriously can't wait for that day and it'll just take someone else like me to realize that it isn't protected by copyright and to go to town with it. I suspect that day isn't long off and closer than we realize.

I feel like a problem with a lot of AI development is people make it to REPLACE things that already exist, instead of making new things only it’s capable of doing, it can be used for some interesting interactive stuff, instead it’s just used to replace existing jobs that rely on creativity
well you dont have to worry as content will never be all ai generated, only some who want it, and hopefully nobody will make money off it because there is no effort being put into it
@@eugenekrabs141 nah content creators and entertainment in general can be so simple, ai can probably replicate it. It's like asking a master magician to trick a 12 year old, not that hard. @@coldpotatoes9687Nope. Human artists are able to innovate. Even if they build on what came before, they are able to add new things. If it didn't work that way music would still be just church hymns. That's what humans can do that AI is literally incapable of, true innovation.

This proves that there is a very large amount of Charlie’s followers that are running though internet headlines and just screaming to him to look at it without checking it out themselves.
I've seen people relay stuff that ppl in his livestream chats have said and honestly? They're so much worse than anyone would expect them to be bc you would expect them to be like chill and nice & whatnot considering the fact that they like to call themselves a fan of charlie. People like that are the reason misinformation spreads so fast these days. They can’t spare 1 second looking into anything before regurgitating it like it’s fact. They have to have their idol form an opinion on it rather than themselves and have almost no autonomous thoughts. Actual bots.
With 14m subs on RU-vid, a lot of those are going to be people who follow solely to criticise and / or try to catch him out. The bigger an audience, the more likely this is. It's linked to hate watching, but I genuinely think some who do this DO like this channel, but need to flex or try to prove him wrong as a way of self aggrandisement.

it can but will it? no, i support ai but do you think that if ai content starts getting big and alot of people make it i will only watch videos made by ai? no, no i wont, i like ai art but do you think i only ever look at ai art? again no, ai does not "replace", it creates its own thing and does its own thing and i respect it for what it does, but i dont just abandon humans all together because it exists, its a non-issue and the people who dont understand that need to go get some form of education because they clearly never have
