You CANNOT use pepper spray against someone who is not moving towards you , you cannot use pepper spray to someone who is moving away from you , it is illegal to use spray on someone who is just standing there causing no threat.

Its a mistake legally to request the apology. The law doesn't care about that. The cop has no obligation to try to help with that. Best to just press the charges.

I have found in my current location (in Texas), that the SO knows the law and civil rights well. The PD in town are cowards, who don’t understand basic law, and victimize victims and can’t even road pirate right.
We also have a problem with city cops like Austin where they do not respond to property crimes. Like stolen cars on the motor mile. My wife works at a dealership and it has been broken into multiple times. APD said it would be 7 to 10 days before an office will respond to even investigate. Auditing America gets off a plane at austin Airport and starts recording and is surrounded by 7 APD cops.
These auditors need to learn to stand their ground when approached by others or cops, it is an intimidation tactic to control you by getting you to move, and stop the damn pleading and please crap, stand your ground and if pushed bumped or grabbed spray em good no warning.!!!!! The Darren parks his car illegally, blocking traffic, which is illegal, leaving the car door open, further blocking traffic, and then assaults the auditor, not to mention that he doesn't know that filming on a public sidewalk is perfectly legal, and that stealing a phone is illegal.
Yes it does! I have a live MVA on my channel where a driver tried to come at me saying , "N¡&&@ I'll f*** you up!"... FD just watched as I drew on him and said back ,"Come on, I WILL defend myself" 😂😂😂 However PD was actually helpful saying, IM IN PUBLIC, ITS MY RIGHT, AND TOLD HIM TO KEEP WALKING BEFORE HE REGRETED THE OUTCOME, when he started back towards me a second time.
