Unfortunately saying no will oftentimes make them angrier and more violent. There are so many screenshots of women gently letting a guy down and then he immediately switches from a normal person into a ball of misogynistic rage. There are also many true crime cases where women were killed for saying no, and sometimes tortured beforehand. The word “no” is not going to stop people who are this insane and sick

@@supernova11711 yes it is 😪 I’m a criminal lawyer working for the prosecution and I see way too much sht. Glad to be working for “the good guys” at least. I couldn’t live with myself as a criminal defense lawyer. Imagine being the lawyer of the monsters who did that to poor Junko 😪 anyways, someone has to do the work. Glad it isn’t me tho😂

I don't intend to victim blame but people can learn a lot from this story. 1st go with your gut. She has a bad feeling from the very beginning. Do not let a stranger into your home & especially after he gave her that creepy note, which shows he's been stalking her for a while. And do not ever go into a strangers home. This really could have been prevented & prayers to the family & boyfriend.

I’m sure women being raised to be sweet and nice and never upset anyone etc (probably heightened in a foreign country where you may question your instinct and blame cultural differences/misunderstandings for your discomfort) all played into how this panned out but man, SO MANY red flags and opportunities were missed here, and wrong priorities made 😞

Again, can you not see that women aren’t the ones at fault?! If men were actually capable of being men, then this wouldn’t be a problem. Why should women victims be wrong, when they’re the ones that are being abused? I can’t understand how people still criticise women in 2023, but still don’t say anything about the perpetrators!

I had someone start following me on the highway! It was really early am, I’m talking like 2-3am, and I was on my way home from my job at a hotel…. All of a sudden this car kept coming up right along side me & the person in it was just staring at me. He even put on his inside light one time, like he wanted me to watch him watch me!! I got off the exit to go home, & I lived in a remote area off the highway. So the roads I was taking weren’t roads that people usually went down unless they had a good reason ya know. Well I didn’t wanna go home, no way in hell was I gonna let this man know where I lived!! So I made my way into town & went to the police department. This man followed me there, passed the station & parked at a business like 2 buildings down. He was able to still see me! I didn’t realize it at first bc I was just tryna get into the police station. Anyways, I leave & an officer that was gonna be leaving anyways said he’d leave a few minutes after me just in case this guy was waiting for me. And oh my goodness am I beyond grateful that that officer cared enough to do that. Bc like I said the man parked just right down the road. So when he saw me leaving the station & turning in the opposite way he was he must’ve flown outta that parking lot bc he was on my cars bumper in what felt like 2mins. And then finally I saw the red & blues & head the siren of the cop car!! He had pulled the guy over even though once the officer tried, the man immediately took the next turn & tried fleeing. I’ve never driven so fast to my house before!! Later on that morning, maybe 10-11, the officer came to my house to lmk they talked to the guy & arrested him for drunk driving. Apparently he had been at the bar at the hotel I worked at & he was waiting for me to leave so he could follow me home. He told the officer he thought I was cute but I left so quickly that he didn’t have a chance to ask me for my number. So he figured he could follow me home & ask me there 😮😮 It was terrifying honestly. I had really bad anxiety & I was so paranoid that people were following me all the time after that. There were so many times I freaked out bc a person took the same turn as me & I would tell myself that they’ve been following me for too long. I eventually worked through it for the most part but honestly, that is not something you soon forget. And, at least for me, it made me a lot less trusting of people & hyper vigilante

Zara, if youre interested in Japan, you might like to cover the Japanese Sarin Cult. This story was wild! The cult leader is a total lunatic. Great coverage on this case! I did ESL teaching in Korea twice and China twice, and it can be a great experience. I didn't hand out lavender but some soft peppermints that say Made in the USA with our flag on the wrapper. I gave to taxi drivers, coworkers, etc.

Not here to victim blame but it’s important for all women to know where things should have been different. Don’t EVER let a stranger like this into your home regardless of what favor they’re asking for. If you’re being followed (and if you’re in a vehicle or bike go FASTER and prioritize losing that person) NEVER go to your house, go to any very public establishment ideally far from your home so that the stalker can’t put two and two together about where you live and ask for help or make a scene. And always follow your gut, he was creepy from the beginning and if he was following you like that after you said no then he’s not a good person with good or innocent intentions.

Awful. No words. Just glad that he got life in prison. Yes, women need to be extremely vigilant. I always pray when my daughter goes out. She has protection but can’t always bring it in certain places. Lindsay was a beautiful person.

They have little keychain attachments that you can hold between your knuckles to punch in an emergency. Sturdier than just having your keys between your fingers. Pepper spray is great too!! I usually carry a knife in my bag but you have to be careful about the laws around knives, they’re different in every state. But they’re also great to keep in your car in case you ever need it for something.

I don’t think he did his plastic surgery without pain medication but I don’t think numbing cream can help the pain of scissor blades 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 I’m thankful he couldn’t change his bone structure. It’s that prominent jawline that got him caught😹🙌🏾.

I had heard of this case before but never seen it covered. I remember reading about it in the paper when I was younger. It's so sad and it's easy to say "oh don't go into strangers homes" but she probably felt pressurised, he said would only be a min and she asked the driver to wait. Sometimes it is hard to say no even with following her home, maybe she didn't know the area well enough to go somewhere else and felt assured if her roomates saw him he would know she wasn't alone. We are taught to be polite but a lot of people have a hard time accepting no. Also a friend of mine lived and started her family in Japan and loved it there, I also think of cherry blossom.

100 percent if someone is following you- don’t go home. Go to a police station and maybe even request an officer to take you home or request an officer come with you to make sure your safe or something.

Hey Zara ma'am! I absolutely love your videos❤. Can you please cover an Indian case that happened around 2006 if I'm not mistaken. Two kids were kidnapped by their driver. They've never been found. It happened in my state,Meghalaya in a city called Shillong. Their names were Sachit Goyal and Harsha Goyal.

Hey Za Za I sometimes tend to give my own nickname. He knew he had issues his friends didn't have to say anything. Besides no matter what a person say or do to try and get help for a friend that person isn't going to budge unless they want too. Um I really wish that she didn't go home when he was following her for obvious reasons. (not letting him know where you live), I wish she didn't get in the cab with him to get his wallet. Just told him okay wrll just bring the money to the next session. Ad you stated she said Japan is a safe place but after being followed allowed him to come into your house when he asked for water. That thought she have went out the window (safe place). I heard this case before I like watching from a person that I like ascwell as subscribed too. Sending Love from Chicago Smooches 😘

Very frustrating case she did many things wrong. in fact everything wrong. May her soul rest in peace. I won't watch cases like these anymore. extremely frustrating
