I'm brazilian and knew Jiu-jitsu so many years ago at my 25s, in the 90s and I had classes with great names as Jucao, Demian Maia, Royce Gracie and so many others. After a long period of stops and restarts of the great art, I at 49 years old, restart again and now decided not to stop until the end of my days. And in your videos I get great inspiration to keep going. Thank you very much for your work.

Love that detail of just dropping your shoulder all the way to the ground and holding the head. I’ve always tried to get the complete setup while still on top and I can never quite get the connection. Thank you, sir!

Think of the choke of like trying to cut something round with scissors. You need to hold the thing still and then push the top down.

I love the simple explanation , I keep easily sweeping people into side control but struggle to finish my kimura. This is a sneaky alternative

Arm triangle is definitely my game; I'm a strong heavyweight wrestler with shorter limbs than most other heavyweights. Smash and smother game and finish with an arm triangle. Not gonna be putting my hooks into someone any time soon lol. Thanks for the video, coach!

sometimes your opponent might straighten hit arm out to get mor time, you can attack the americana with your free hand while maintaining the choke, high percentage finish.

If you watch Jonny Eduardo vs Nathaniel Wood, Nath hits a very nice D’arce in the second round

Your doing your darce probly well ill say completely opposite of the way I usually hit it I feed my arm from the front and very deep reach as deep as possible and then reach with my feet to secure so this is interesting .as you say variations !

How's that grip spelled, the one that resembles the gable grip and that's used to knock him over actively?

Gene LeBell grip, or alternatively just "three finger grip". Lots of names for everything.

that darce "small bridge to knock him off balance" the dude just flops. If he is just knees wide, resisting, you're not knocking him over with a small bridge.
