This is the best video for a “newbie” …. Actually I’m a woman with chemo induced alopecia and I have very little hair but have always used an electric hair cutter in the past but I’m excited to try this. Will be ordering from Amazon today. I do wear a lot of caps and head pieces but for this summer, I will feel more confident and comfortable with my head exposed. Thank you❤
I have alopecia since last october and this is the first head shaver review that impresses me. I love going hiking and I can't wait to get myself one of these. thanks Greg for the video and demonstration...
Bought Headblade Moto via Amazon UK and used it for the first time last night, was so impressed with how easy it was to use and really pleased with the results, previously had only visited the barber for razor cut but from now on will be doing head shave myself. A brilliant piece ok kit that makes head shaving quick, safe and easy.
Great shave! I love headblade moto standard and s4 gold finger. I use 6 years headblade moto and products. Headslick is fantastic,i prefer hb4 refill .I use always headblade moto and headslick. After thayers witch hazel coconut oil and headlube spf 50 in the summer.headlube glossy in winter.
Bought the same kit with the four blade system, and took your advice from your first video on head shaving. Was my first time and found a bump I apparently liked to Knick, haha. However i have a super smooth shaved head now :) Thanks for the advice
looks like you're super happy with the shave Greg ! me myself as a head shaver Suggest you to use andis electric foil shaver in one of your videos and give us your thoughts cause it's a brilliant thing to shave the head with , thank you so much , also liked your new beard length , it's now stays on the best length 🌹
Wow..that razor is incredibly good. Is it made out of metal or plastic ? I haven't used anything better than a gillette flexball proglide for a head shave.
Just got mine yesterday, thought I’d just rip in and try it straight away before I showered. Mistake! Managed to cut my self halfway through but it was entirely my fault for not preparing right. Seriously the closest shave I’ve ever had! Head and face. Just make sure you prepare properly with the oil they send in the first purchase.
Just HAD to get this; just submitted my order. Couldn't use your code though 🙁. First time coconut shaver here. The single-straight stick razor type of shavers make me nervous. Now I just wish my beard was a full as yours! Oh the beard is long but dang I need some density.
I just used the headblade for the first time last night and I love it! Now, I noticed you used the shaving cream from headblade in this video, but in other videos you recommend hair conditioner. Do you still recommend conditioner over shaving cream? Great content btw! I just subscribed!
Great question! I answer it in this video Head Shave with the BIC EasyRinse Razor | Did BIC get it right? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jA7Xv6NGV9s.html
This is a great product my one issue is that I just can't seem to get behind my ears with it and end up using other devices for the more precise cutting spots like that. But for like 98% of my shave it's the best.
Interested.... I just started using the Remington Balder boss, but not very impressed with the closeness of the shave. Still feel stubble. How smooth is this when done? How long do the blades last? How long can your hair be for this to be effective? TIA
I've been using the superb Omnishaver for the last 4 years and can shave my head smooth in 90 seconds to 2 minutes. After 4 years my shaver broke but here in England I cannot purchase a new one at present. Temporary out of stock. The omnishave has 10 blades and I've had up to 60+ shaves out of a set of blades. Does this moto shave smooth? And, how many shaves can you get out of one set of blades?
Been using headblade since 12 years ago starting with the headblade sport. Currently using the moto. Also have the leaf 3 blade razor and the Leaf thorn. If I really want a quick close shave not worrying about possibly nicking myself my goto is still the Headblade!!! I really get quick BBS shaves with it!! Highly recommend!!!
Which do you reach for more often and is your favourite between the HeadBlade Moto or the Leaf 3-blade Razor?? I’m considering both, and wondering what is cheaper to run long-term..
@@Baldandbeardedmatt At the moment I would say more headblade. Leaf 3 blade or Thorn? Both good but different: 1. 3 Blade: bigger. I would say more for doing a head shave. 2. Thorn: smaller .. good for detail work. I would say head and face. Hope this helps ...
@@Capie thanks for the reply. Yea I was thinking the Leaf 3-blade as I only would be using it for shaving my head. You use the Thorn as a head shaving razor hey? Do you like it better than the 3-blade Leaf razor? I’m tempted to try the HeadBlade, but, being from Canada the replacement blades get pricy over time. I’m looking for quality and long term affordability and sustainability. Thanks!
Greg you didn't mention in another video about using conditioner as a lube, would the same apply to using one of these razors? I'm about to take the plunge from using a skull shaver and will be shaving my head every 3 days.
Received Headblade Moto as a Xmas gift from my kids. After shaving 25 years with a normal 3 to 5 blades razor I was suspicious with first try of Headblade. It works ok when shaving from front to back or viceversa but I found it difficult to get the precision of the normal blade and easily changeable grip when shaving around ears or the sideburns. Difficult to get a good grip of the Headblade for those precise parts and I still use the normal razor for those. Have to use Headblade as long as the blades are good because it was a gift but definitely going back to normal 5 blade pivoting razor after that. No additional value and not as easy to use in my opinion.
I bought one of these on Amazon and I'm not sure what to think of it. I used conditioner when I used it and it I got quite a few knicks. Although watching this video, I can see how I messed up. I'll try it again using it the right way. Maybe next time I won't look like I got mauled by a kitten
@@GregBoswell428 after watching your video, I tried again using your technique of not having the blade lose contact with the skin. It worked way better. Thank you.
6 blades? Don't you get more ingrown hairs and razor bumps with that many blades? I see so many videos saying use a single blade or just 2 blades. Idk. Just wondering .....
The way you can tell this is an American product is that the packaging is from 20 years ago, in that it completely lacks any environmental consciousness.
I can only go with the grain prone ingrowns but it gets close enough wtg more so then any clipper so I’m good with it evryday in the shower bam done 1 min
