I'm currently going through this. Numbness on my upper right thigh with burning every now and then. Had it for the past two weeks. Started with the femoral nerve pain irritating it more when sitting. Very annoying. I've started taking Alpha Lipoic Acid. I hope it helps. Thank you for this video. Came right on time. Much Love 💕 & Blessings 🙏
Thank you so much Dr. Mandel. It has been horrific but I'm a fighter. I've been taking most of these but a couple of them I didn't have. I will try those as well. I pray it helps Blessings
With a tear rolling down my face thank you for all you do for us, to some people you are all we have (apart from the Lord). God Bless you Doc.... And thanks again.
To you Dr. MANDELL . I Want to thank you and God Bless you . My pain has gotten so much worse since my Dr. Said "NO" and ordered to stop taking these and other significant ones . At the time she had me on 3 ( count them ) baby azirin a day . I developed dependent bleeding whichever side I laid on. She took my BP and immediately my skin turn purple .and swelled up . She ordered me to stop taking those herbs because those were the problem but, she also decreased baby asa to 1 daily Dr.Mandell, I'mtelling you this to help others . My pain has returned , I cry out to you . I've used natural sources all my. But this is what I am facing . Any help ? She said these are all "Natural Blood Thinners" ( I know this but, not to the degree of 3 baby apirin) . Be Blessed x100 for your gifts of Encoragement you send to us each day . Sinceerely ,
Toxic mold causes nerve pain and no doctor knows this. Mold is the most destructive and inflammatory thing out there. Detoxing and getting out of mold has been the most helpful.
@@ItCantRainForever2 lupus , MS and so many other illnesses caused by mold and they throw drugs at other illnesses and it doesn't work because it was mold all along

I take all of these except Acetyl-l-carnitine. I don’t have diabetes and I eat a whole food plant based diet and now I have symptoms of peripheral neuropathy all of a sudden.
@@irenecohen8708 neuropathy can also be caused by toxins not just diabetes also if you drink alot of coffee that can also be a reason because it depletes you from electrolytes .
@@irenecohen8708 You probably have very high insulin causing problems.... your blood sugar and A1C might look good for decades while high Insulin is causing the damage to our nerves and arteries.
As a previous sciatica nerve sufferer I can atest that Alpha Lipoic Acid is the real deal. I take all he listed except for L Carnitine. I was told my pain was due to needing a major back surgery, however with Jesus, and now walking 2-3 miles a day along with these supplements, I am not only down 30 pounds but amazingly better. Thank you Dr Mandell!! Tell your lovely mother, hello!
@@melody5683 R-ALA supplements are the superior form of alpha lipoic acid, which is mentioned in this video. Make sure to use R-ALA...not just ALA in supplement form.
Oh my goodness Dr. Mandel, thank you so much. I was recently told I had this but was never ever told how to heal from it. I started with horrible leg cramps, tingling and numbness. Now my legs are swelling. Doc put me on furesimide. Still swelling up. Thank u. I will write this list down and all these vitamins
I can lower the leg swelling by a very low carbohydrate diet. When I did a 3 day fast, no food for 3 days no swelling at all. So it must be something I'm eating. Remember if its prepackaged food there will be alot of chemical preservatives in it. These chemicals preserve food and are ok to eat for a few meals but when eaten consistantly can have negative effects on health. Bless you!
Carnivore diet with multivitamin, fish oil, and ashgawanda. Hiking every week with a 5 day lifting schedule with swimming every other day. Never felt better and in more control of high blood pressure, anxiety, and stress. Thanks Doc for the great video.
Dr. Mandell your the greatest thank God and your of being the greatest Dr.Mandell in sharing so much important great health information. Thank you for your valueble time. Take care n be safe . God Bless you n ur family..
I developed neuropathy after contracting covid. I was also diagnosed with low levels of vitamin D. Apparently low levels of vitamin D makes us susceptible to covid. So I've finally put the puzzle together. I've been taking three of these supplements but will now add ALA to see if I improve. Thanks very much for the informative video
Flax oil is superior for its omega 3 & 6, among other things. Thank you for your videos. I’ve learned now about the myelin sheath, an information which is very important.
Thank you for your very informative video. I started the aloha lipoic acid and my muscle cramps are mostly gone. I also use benfotiamine which I bought off amazon and that helps as well. Keep up the great work
Excellent. I've started taking these kind vital supplements 3 years ago when bad signs neuropathy in feet. Now hardly any signs neuropathy left unless I'm on my feet too much and don't wear supportive shoes. 90% better thanks to Dr Mandel for all you do
Kept the 200 pounds off now; 4 years now. Neuropathy hell due to toxin damage and SCI. Being paralyzed from the neck down will get one close to God. Thanks, Doctor Mandel!
I just started to take ALA and pray for a good outcome. God bless you Dr Mandell for your great mission helping people who feels exhausted because pain. Thank you
Thank you doctor Mandel since I have been taking Alpha Lipoic Acid and Ashwagandha I feel so much better. I also take D3 and k2, omega 3, zink, Magnesium and probiotics. All these vitamins are a miracle from Heaven. Thank you for all your videos. You are an Angel sent from Heaven 😇🙏
Thank you Dr Mandell for all your good advice. I have a problem, I stay in South Africa and cannnot find R Alpha Lipoic Acid. Do you know where I can get it. I was told that the alpha Lipolic acid must have the R before the name. Thanks for all your fantastic help ❤
I am currently in the process of quitting drinking. I have not known what it was I was experiencing in my hands lately. However after watching this I feel confident that this is what I've been experiencing in my hands. It is absolutely AWFUL when it happens. I have rubbed/itched my hands raw at times dealing with this. I've found MY ONLY ESCAPE FROM THE INTENSITY OF IT IS TO SOAK MY HANDS IN ICE WATER until the cold is so extreme it hurts, but is a welcome trade to the burning nerves. THANK YOU for your channel Alan. You have helped me so much. God Bless.
I just started experiencing symptoms in the winter and I quit drinking last month. I didn’t even know what was going on I thought I was just standing too much and the pain never went away. How’s it going 10 months in?
Thank you Dr this is a great video on neuropathy I’m sure most of the majority of us have experienced a loss of feeling in our body and fatigue, the importance of making sure we get enough vitamin Bs we so deserve🙏
I’m so close to throwing myself off a cliff due to the extreme pain I’ve had for the last 4/5 months - pain in my neck, shoulder, lower arm and pins and needles too. I’ve had the physiotherapist refer me to the spinal unit but that was 2 months ago and I’ve not heard anything yet. I also have chronic pain in my spine due to crumbling lumbar vertebrae, L3, 4 and 5. I’m 43 and I’ve had the back pain since 1999 after my eldest daughter was born. That pain is helped by a massive amount of OxyContin and off-label SNRI medication, but nothing helps with this new pain. I’m waiting for the doctor to prescribe gabapentin to see if that helps until I can get the spinal nerve block injections - I had 2 rounds of those a few years ago and they didn’t work for my lower spine but I’ll try anything to see if it helps this time. I a.ready take vitamin d, ( I live in the Scottish highlands and our winter days and long and dark), and a multivitamin and B complex supplements. I’m definitely going to start with the others listed in this video. I swear I’ve never felt pain like this and if it can’t be managed soon I doubt I’ll make it to 44.
Me too! Then out of nowhere, high blood sugar and neuropathy. I tried ALA, but just now discovered from Dr.Mandel that I wasn't taking enough! 600 mg. My pills were only 200mg.
35-50% of the population are mthfr cannot convert synthetic B12 to bio form. So make sure you get the natural form B12 if you do not know if you are MTHFR
@@norafox4789 its a Gene expression where your body has trouble to convert bio available B vitamins. The solution is to eat bio available B foods like red meat and eggs for example and if you supplement buy methylation bio forms only since your body will bypass the conversion altogether since its already in an active form.
My uncle, the doctor, said we do not absorb B12 in food so we get shots twice a month, My blood test showed I had none. Also lack of it causes dementia
Doc I’ve heard taking 10-20,000 UI of vitamin D3 is very beneficial. I’ve been taking 5,000 for a month now and feel a bit better. But is it safe to take 10,000UI? And when’s the proper time to take Vitamin D3, B12, Zinc and Magnesium Citrate for better absorption?
Thank you doctor. I take several but a few I didn’t realize would help. I have lower leg neurophy. Axel rated by blood thinners to open wounds burning itching and a lot of suffering.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I can't tell how many years I have had nerve pain in my back, legs, feet, toes, hands and fingers. I will certainly be checking with Dr. first and upon approval I will be trying these. Be blessed always 💖🤗😇😊
Right now I take too many medications. These are a lot of supplements to take on top of all my meds. Aside from that I would have to get permission from my doctor.
Question..... Are you suggesting we take all of these supplements for neuropathy, or choose a few? What would be the best combination for help with symptoms?....Thanks
I had very vague symptoms few months ago, now I am for the last two months very active, walking 25k steps daily and working out 4 times per week, taking b vitamins and eating a lot of fish. And surprisingly right now the pain and the symptoms became so so strong. Is it possible because my nerves are healing the pain to be so bad? I have a doctor appointment in 2 days I hope its not getting worse despite all health improvement changes that I did in my life.
Thank You Dr. M My neuropathy is quite bad in my left leg & yes I have diabeties type 2 Going to take your advice and start my therapy. Let you all know how I go. Again thank you & God Bless
OMGosh! Dr. Mandel, I cannot thank you enough for your advice on these supplements for relief from neuropathy! Neuropathic pain used to be at a level of 10+ and is now at about 1 or sometimes 2 😁😁😁! I have been getting supplementation advice from my Primary Care doctor, my Neurologist and you for a while now. All three of you have helped me to get completely off two prescription drugs, reduce the dosage of another one and are about to start targeting two more! To those who have tried to use supplements and you are not seeing the benefits, please be patient. It does take some time, possibly as long as a month or two. You may also want to look into increasing the dosage. For example, I take 1200 mg twice a day of Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) and the same of Acetyl L-carnitine. My Neurologist is okay with this dose and said I could go as high as 1800 mg twice a day if I needed to. Do your research and make sure you are looking at reputable sources. Hang in there! There is relief available!

Vitamins ? are great /My wife and I take a few, but i would like to understand the difference in mcg/mg/iu etc. My "one a day" says i am getting vitamin D 20 mcg/800 iu? , my /vitamin D says 25mcg/1000iu yet the bottle reads 1000 iu. How much /vitamin D am i actually taking? per tablets. I am sure i am not the only one wondering about this and we all know the more confused the consumer the more he will either buy or ignore and i do not see a up side of either situation. Maybe this might be worth a whole video? when you have a chance. Thanks for all your sharing.
QUESTION: Is peripheral neuropathy just a symptom of a much deeper problem? Read that having a healthy gut will cure the neuropathy symptoms. I'm not diabetic, don't smoke, drink, & blood work is great. Is this "idiopathic neuropathy"?
Diabetic neuropathy made life difficult, but Planet Ayurveda’s Punarnava Capsules has given me much-needed relief. The improvement has been noticeable, and I highly recommend this Ayurvedic remedy.
Good morning Dr Mandel thanks for the great info this morning I'm gonna go to the health food store this morning for the alfalfa and vitamin b capsules today have a great day
Hi Doc, thx for the info. Quick question, any data on epsom salt baths and the body’s ability to adsorb magnesium through a warm relaxing epsom salt bath? Is it possible for the skin to adsorb?
I'm interested to know this too as I take magnesium baths every second day due to a slipped disc arthritis in the spine and a few other things. I also drink it dissolved in water. Going to try all the others, I take B12 I think it is. I get lower/upper back pain and muscle weakness in the legs. I've just had two cortisone injections and I'm only 35.

God bless you doctor! I've been diagnosed with low density bones, Coxarthrosis, and Gonarthrosis. Hypothetically, if you saw a patient with such conditions what B-Vitamins, other vitamins, and supplements would you suggest? Many thanks for your hard work helping all the people of the world! I recently started taking an over the counter Neuropathy med with Alpha Lipoic Acid, as I could not find it in pure form. Several days later, my doctor prescribed a low dose of Gabapentin for the associated pain. That has helped greatly and have regained much function. I had stopped the OTC meds. My question is: is it wise to alternate the medications? I take the prescribed med at night and would like to resume the over the counter in the morning to begin healing. I continue to search for the pure form of ALA. Thanks for your vital message.
