I love the fact that you're recording this in the kitchen. For real! Leaving aside the quality of the content and of the experience you're sharing (I am healing from a stress fracture myself, perfect timing!), the coziness of the setup gives me a "ohhh, this is the kind of people I want to support!!" kind of vibe. You and Sage have helped me tremendously in my running journey, and I often come back to your videos just for the good vibes you're able to convey. You're genuine and passionate people, and this reflects in every word you put out on the internet. I also just recalled that you had to move into this place after a terrible fire in your old apartment, and this adds even more. Apologies for the random comment, totally not related to running...I just had a few kind words for you and wanted to share them ! :-)

This was excellent you deserve more attention than the algorithm has blessed you with. I struggle with asking for help as a runner, I think there is a reason why we’ve gravitated towards a solo sport. I remember a time where I’d visited my physio about ten days before a race with a minor calf strain which she treated and told me to come back if it doesn’t clear up and to text her and keep her updated on progress. It cleared up fine, I thought about sending her a text to let her know but decided I’d rather not bother her. We have a good relationship and she lives in the same neighbourhood as me, I bumped into her a few days after the race and she asked me how it’d gone what the progress was and rather than not wanting to be bothered I could tell she really felt like she’d missed out on the end of the story and really wanted to be able to follow up and finish off her job. I think independence is one of my big strengths but so can be the case often taking it too far is a big weakness too. I hope you get some traction with your podcast, I throughly enjoyed it.

Glad I came up with a schedule to check certain social media accounts, since I've been spending way less time on the socials. Saw this in your stories - yeah! There's so much good stuff to unpack in this episode. I continually learn so much about running training and I also get some great non-running hacks from all three of you. I'm also in Ray's injury support group (I keep changing my google name so you may not know who I am - not done on purpose :). Hope you guys will do more of these types of episodes when you can. Love the science and data stuff too, says this science nerd. Thank you!!
