Thats right, but the curious thing about this scene is that all that power that is seen emanating in the building is the equivalent not only of Gon's healing process but also of his Nen, in other words its perhaps the power that Gon possesses or will possess in a future.
@@dragonvessel6510 it is equivalent to his nen BUT the one that we saw here is the curse that accumulated in gon body in exchange for his rapid growth, He already used all his nen when fighting pitou.
Gon was honestly a psycho in many ways. Imagine him grown fully, this power matured, with him still being as aloof and inherently selfish as he'd been thus far.
Pretty fucking similar to any child given vast amounts of power to use. There brain literally not developed enough to have a moral compass nd even then gon usually did better than most monsters you could find in school.
@@noobnoob8922 The issue is that Gon was a child with no discipline or sense of right and wrong. Gon was a monster. Not a monster in terms of hurting people or being overtly evil. Just in terms of power. There was no way to teach him right and wrong for most of his childhood. His actions throughout his journey show that while he wasn't mini Mr. Evil, his actions and emotional outbursts were purely driven by his own wants, without consideration of others. He may have grown up fine with friends like Killua and other Hunters straightening him. But the real point of Gon's story is that he COULD have become a Big Bad himself.
@@domsull1159 By the author himself a long ass time ago. The white aura is Nanika, while the black is all the aura Gon gained as a result of his restriction and covenant. The only way to heal him was to undo the entire thing. It wound up reverting Gon to his pre-awakened state, however. Not that it's much of a loss since the price of the covenant was all of his future potential and ability to use Nen anyway.
The fact that characters like goreinu, melody, and the saitama guy from previous arcs were present to help killua and gon during the election process just blows my mind
@@ivanadriazola1991 mhh I think I believe it since there is the restriction placed on healing stuff to where she has to actually touch whatever she’s healing, unlike any other type of wish where it just happens. Kinda signifies the greed of humanity will just cause more suffering, whereas there’s no hidden strings attached to compassion
No, She is undoing the convenant by a way of nen exorcism, the unintentional covenant that he made with himself when he said "I don't care anymore, if this is the end, I will use everything" to sacrifice all of his life force, his future potential and nen power that he will ever achieve in his lifetime for a momentary power enough to obliterate anyone and anything.
If I remember correctly Gon also lost all his Nen abilities after this, but I get the feeling his Dad might somehow transfer his Nen to Gon and bring back his powers
You can't lose nen because nen is the source of Life . Every creature has this Energy ,but not anyone can use It . After this scene gon nen was reset ,now he has to learn It again .
Gon wasnt crazy he wanted to kill pitou because he saw how kite was and didnt want his other friends to get hurt. Very sad scene seeing he was willing to give everything up even finding his dad which the entire show was based on.
And yet you see tourist not understanding this and call Gon stupid, like, damn we can't have well written characters anymore, gate keeping needs to be brought back
Gon was always a psycho. He had a screwed sense of morality. This arc just proved how far he is willing to go when being pushed. Literaly throwing everything away to get revenge
He was clearly blinded by his hatred towards Pitou once he saw what she'd done to Kite. He committed that insane nen condition to take revenge. Let's call a spade a spade.
I hate how people are calling a literal child insane for wanting to absolutely destroy the creature that butchered his oldest friend/father figure. It’s hypocritical as hell
There's a lottt that Ging is Hiding...if you read manga you'll Know...Also it's just a theory But as some people have speculated that Ging has an ability to see future or something like that... Although his Nen ability is still neither confirmed nor in the manga , yet
@@alpacino6757 In terms of animating, No...there won't be anytime soon... There are mainly 2 reasons... 1- No studio will such a big risk...2- There isn't much material to animate...If you see from where the anime ends ... There's only Succession Arc and a little bit of Dark Continent Arc introducing Characters like 5 calamities etc. You can read manga if you want.
wait wait wait gon is from the dark continent?? how?? does that mean his dad or mom came from that continent too?? sorry im also on hiatus from reading the manga haha
@@urekmazino5125 It's not confirmed like that BUT, it's really possible Gon was borned in the dark continent. As Mito said, one day Ging came with a probably 1-2 years old baby.
My theory is that Ging stumbled on some entity in the Dark Continent, and that he was coerced into a difficult decision that caused Gon to be born or created.
I think people kinda gotta acknowledge gon’s kinda out of the story, he lost his nen and he’s achieved his goal. There’s no purpose left for him, and togashi isn’t gonna force him back in. Togashi’s a lot more likely to just go write about whatever more interesting than that.
He didn’t lose his nen, he just has to start over. I believe Togashi is gonna Show the process of Gon regaining his nen, slowly, and not the way they did with Mr. Wing. This time with patience, and experience. Togashi says that there’s gonna be a season 7. I also miss the 1999 version. And Gon is alive and well and is gonna restart his journey again to become a nen user once again. With Killua, Alluka, and maybe even some other old and new friends. Also I want them to bring the 1999 version back😭. I just started watching it. Like 9 or 10 days ago? And by that time, the 1999 version had already been taken off of Netflix.
Yeah togashi replace kurapika as the mc in latest arc but I hope it should be leorio since kurapika already had a phantom troupe arc and killua is with the nanika arc I hope leorio gets his arc too
I’m not an expert in burn wards, in fact I’ve only been in the burn ward once… But what kind of doctors and/or nurses just let ANY patient hang out in blood soaked pillowcases and bedsheets?
Gotta remember that Gon was moved to a separately built facility because Killuas family are secretive dicks. They didn't want anyone knowing about Nanika. I doubt they were even allowed near it to maintain the dressing.
He was probably bleeding at a steady rate and being redressed periodically. We don't need to have episode time and animators' efforts wasted on showing that explicitly.
New theory: Every hunter got their nen copied, when they put their nen on the Greed Island console, right before they teleport inside the game. This explains how those spell cards are made.
Manga returns on the 7th October. Togashi also provides updates on twitter, he currently started inking 418. Though yeah unfortunately the next arc will need like 200 chapters to fully flesh out the plot and characters.
Morel would be an interesting transformation. Pitou stated his puppets, though not as numerous, were more advanced than hers --- enough to fool her into thinking they were real people until spy reports came in stating otherwise.
@@lassisolet2959 No...Gon's condition is not cause by injury...it is cause by Nen-Binding Contact, just like Kurapika's "judgement chain" ...They need Nen-exorcist not healer
It is scary how powerful gon would've become in say half a century of constant training maybe similar to what netero did in the mountains. The fact the unintentional covenant that he made with himself when he said "I don't care anymore, if this is the end, I will use everything" to sacrifice all of his life force, his future potential and nen power that he will ever achieve in his lifetime for a momentary power enough to obliterate anyone and anything granted him the brief amount of power to rival or even beat the king, that means he'd have been a lot stronger than Netero who lost to the King. That'd make him the strongest Nen user in the entire world by a significant margin.
Well Gon is technically out of the story now, he is alive and got his dream of meeting his dad on the world tree, and that is Gon's story done, he retired as the mc to Kurapika and Leorio, he probably will appear but as a side character since he isn't so powerful anymore
@@Aicy2008he’ll probably still appear later on since he’s the MC, though he might be out for quite the while until he can recover his power back to how it was
Something I'm fascinated by here that I missed on my first watch, Pariston and Gin's reactions. Gin lowers his head, while Pariston smiles smugly. It almost feels like somehow, Pariston has gained an advantage by Gon's survival, while Gin has lost an advantage.
But don't let that distract you from the fact that Ging abandoning his most precious son, was the nen restriction / vow to make Ging strong enough to solo the dark continent and look for Don Freakz.
It should have been a very quite scene. She tooks his hand gently and start massaging it. Then tiny lines of energy could be seeing glowing from her hand into his and further to hie heart and heat. After he should groan a sign of relief while his shin get darker and start breaking away. The boy would Panik and the body quards storm in to remove her. But then they would see the new skin revealed and the patient opening his eyes and start waking up.
@@user-zr2pu9xu2z That's the whole point. Healing should feel different then punching someone in the face. Granted, sometimes you have to hurt to heal, like when using needles or burning strong bleeding wounds.
@@molybdaen11The entire point of the scene is to demonstrate the amount of power required to heal the person. This wasn't any normal injury it required an extremely powerful person to heal, that's why it was so flashy.
For those who think gon can’t come back, this is my opinion but off of what’s been said in the anime seems pretty correct, anyway when gon used the power to kill pitou, it was mentioned he used the power equivalent to about 10-20 years worth so that’s not his power cap, to me that just means he has much more but needs to relearn and it’ll probably be harder because of what he did, but if humans live to be 100+ in hunter x hunter gon still has like 70-80 years worth of nen power(if he trains repeatedly as stated in anime) though this is all my speculation from the anime I’m not sure if it’s the same in manga but I don’t think they’re skip that or change it so probably not, I’d say it’s very likely gon will get his powers and come back
New theory: Gon as a baby was inside Greed Island. But we learn in the anime that you can only enter Greed Island if you use nen in front of a game console. Gon as a baby didn't have nen. Suggesting that Gon was born in Greed Island. Or, Gon was one of the restrcted spell cards. Ging must have finished that game in the test phase so Ging then was granted the ability to bring along 3 cards outside the game. One of these spell cards must have been Gon. Could the reason that Hisoka follow him be the reason to obtain a Greed Island spell card in the form of Gon? Maybe it was Hisoka after all who cleared the game (instead of Ging)? In the test phase 12 years ago
Gon asks Killua: Tomorrow is my last day to accept a match in Heaven's arena. Should I accept the match? My Heaven's arena opponent is then Diablo. Killua: No, do you see that outside table? Imagine 2 Hisoka's. That is how strong Diablo is
New theory: Ging is so strong because he killed himself 50 times, and gained a zenkai boost with post mortem nen. He reincarnated using the greed island spell card: genie granting three wishes.
Story-wise, character-wise etc, Meruem will always aim for greatness and perfection. Dying has no place in Meruem's goals. This implies that, let's say that a toxic ant would infect Meruem with poison, and if Meruem's body doesn't create antibodies against this poison. Then Meruem would create a nen ability to create more antibodies or anything to counteract poison. There are so many ways to deal with mortal ilnesses, like swapping souls, reincarnation, cure/recovery or other nen abilities or hatsus. The only way Meruem's death makes sense is if he created a nen ability off-screen, then die and be reborn or something, or a nen ability that creates invisible clones (one of the clones then died) and Meruem is actually alive
Gon makes a nen restriction vow that allows him to burn all of his nen potential to become the strongest nen user in the world at that point for a few seconds, so that he can defeat a certain target. This is the result. Also Nanika can perform REALLY powerful nen exorcisms apparently
