U r so right… I have been on my journey for 3 years now.. from a size 22/24 to a 12 now.. the tears I have shed 😢😢 but I thank God for strength cause it continues to be a daily walk.. I had to condition my mind and realize this is a lifestyle
These are great tips. If I could add one, don’t tell yourself “you can’t have” a food. Tell yourself, “let me find a healthy alternative.” “Cant” seems to lead me to binging on that particular food. Substitute sounds less restrictive. Stay blessed!
All of this in combination is habit stacking! My life changed when I started being deliberate and intentional about my habits. The goal is to be 1% better each and everyday. Also, give 100% of whatever you've got that day. Not everybody can show up and give 100% each and everyday, especially those who have female reproductive organs because sometimes our energy levels and moods are affected by the phases of our cycle, so if you only have 50%, then give 100% of that 50%.
Thank you sis! I needed this video. My weight has been fluctuating and I recently put on 15-20 pounds in the past 6 months and I am ready to get back on track. I will definitely incorporate these tips. Much appreciated 😊❤
When you said “couldn’t be me, couldn’t be me,” I felt that! I do my best and mean well but with kids and a demanding job, it’s not that easy all the time. Thank you for this and being honest and real❤❤
I have been working out for years, track my macros and eat very clean. At 5ft 1 and 143 lbs i have been trying to loose 10-12 lbs FOREVER but the scale wont budge. I come to realize after all this time, this must be my bodys way of telling me that im ok at where im at so i will continue working out 6 days a week like i have and eating clean. Im not goina let it consume me any longer
Have you ever been tested for insulin resistance? My sister suffered with pcos for years but found out by taking an at home test called So Well the unlying cause was her high glucose levels. And she wasn't super overweight pretty active job, ate good but mostly carbs. She switched over to ketovore and has been 2 meals a day for 6 months now and her pcos and psoriasis has improved drastically. And from that I learned what the big companies dont want us to know is most if not all metabolic diseases like pcos diabetes etc are all related to diet and insulin resistance which most people today struggle with and for pcos girlies glucose has a direct influence on hormones. High androgens = high insulin thats why they prescribe metformin... to treat the high insulin! Check out Dr Mindy Pelz and Dr Berg. Love your videos! ❤🎉
My downfall is SLEEP..I have a really hard time falling asleep. I get at the mist maybe 6 hrs of sleep. I just started lifting weights (dumbells 10-30lbs)but I don’t know how much is enough! How many reps ,how heavy, how many different workouts per body part. I know Im making it harder than what it really is😂😂..And I LOATH cardio!
I felt that "be kinder to yourself" one. I've been working on that one. My latest approach is settling smaller attainable goals that i can build on later.
Love this video. Outside of everything you mentioned, I find that many of my clients tend to eat carbs in the morning, which spikes their insulin. We should start with greens, then protein, carbs...it sets us up for the day, and if we control our insulin, we can control our fat loss process. Too many carbs and too much cardio are messing up the muscle mass gains.
