YES THE PEOPLE! Ask and you shall receive. Meal prep you don't need to re-heat comin' at ya. The amounts I used are in the video description, but you can obviously tweak those to suit your requirements. Enjoy the video - hope you all find it somewhat useful!
I laughed out loud at, "I got these trays on Amazon. I went for the kind without compartments because, well, I'm not 7 and I don't mind if one food touches another food."
Just a suggestion for the first one : instead of using olive oil, use the oil the tomatoes are in. If you grabbed a good one, it's likely seasoned and in good olive oil already and you'll just get more of those flavors in the dish
For the pasta you could use some of the oil from the jar of sundried tomatoes if u dont have olive oil, should have a lot of flavour and is the cheap option
Hi mate, I'm just starting training again since I left the army(lived of eggs and lidl prawn noodles), I've never knew what to really eat while training, so I've watched a few of your videos and going to give them a go! I dont ever normally subscribe on RU-vid but I'll keep an eye out for your content! Cheers.
I substituted the edamame with butternut squash just because I prefer it and used dark soy instead of light for the same reason. Delicious. Especially the sauce. Only thing I’m looking for is a way to make the quinoa have a more impactful taste!
So while I'm just on the lookout for yummy recipes I can prep for the week because I'm lazy and have a low budget, my boyfriend actually is a personal trainer and bodybuilder and I'm kind of proud that I discovered you first. He's also half British and he loves your videos.
Some people may have had an unpleasant experience with quinoa because it's naturally coated with a substance called saponins. Look on your quinoa package. If it doesn't say "pre-rinsed" or "no rinsing required", then you should rinse your quinoa in a fine mesh seive or a colander lined with a clean dish towel or some cheese cloth. Due to quinoa's growing popularity, farmers are crossbreeding varieties to produce a sweeter, less bitter seed.
if you don't want to carry that sauce separately but still like the flavor, you could glaze the chicken with it instead (a teaspoon of corn starch might be required to get it thick)
the Buddha bowl looks fireee. Ive always wondered about the repetitive nature of meal prep it seems like something i could get into but nutritional diversity is pretty important. maybe switching out proteins between salmon chicken tofu can be beneficial while also maintaining the ease of meal prep? ive never tried meal prep so i really am unsure.
If you guys want that extra tenderness to the chicken, add cornstarch~ you can also add any kind of vermouth or eggwhites, these work wonders, helps with the palate!
Thanks a bunch Joe. Im on the road for work m--f from 7a to 5p. Makes it really difficult to make sure im putting the right things in my body and not just eating fast food.
Fed up of all these ‘look what I’m up to today’ bloggers who try to tell you shit whilst prepping. Just stumbled on your channel after half an hour of listen to some drips talk about their shopping trip. Your commentary, recording and actual prep is fucking fantastic. Props to you for actually making this a laugh unlike the other dull lizards on RU-vid. Subscribed 👍
This is amazing. I’m not going to do it because I lack motivation to leave my bed at the moment But I’m saving this video for when the day comes I’ll do this
Ha ha! You have a wicked sense of humour! Awesome workout videos, great healthy eating tips and all round dude! What more can you ask for? Thanks for the content!
I absolutely love how he explains every detail for the '0.1%' who will leave stupid nonsensical comments 🤣🤣🤣 this is like a comedy skit and a very very good meal prep video. Thank you ! 😁
Randomly came across this video and decided to try this, turned out great! (never used the grill option in my oven for chicken before so that was some guess work with the time). Love the presentation of your videos, the laid back and funny attitude and great content, subscribed! P.S, you left out the edamame beans in the description ;)
joe i just went tesco, copped all the ingredients (substituted chicken for vegan chicken tho cos im veggie). Sat here now scranning the fuck outta this like i been starved for a week, brother this scran is insane, I will be watching more of your vids for bulk preps. my guy keep this up
Aye Joe, if you're into fish you should swap out the chicken in the second meal with salmon. Sushi grade raw if you can get it. Edamame, avo, and salmon is the holy trinity (ontop of rice). Cheers brodie
