Whoever gave this video a thumbs down must not like rock and roll this band is amazing pure down-home rock and roll and they're still killing it to this day
The guitars sound more jazz-fusion than rock&roll to me though. But sure, a heavy country inspired rock beat played by a skilled drummer (and also some odd signatures in the British rock tradition).
Interesting fact: The buzzing and whining feedback you hear in the background starting at the 4:28 mark was created in the studio by guitarist Roger Fisher taking the cord out of his guitar and holding it up to his amp pegged at maximum volume (their amps at the time had tubes in them)....that wildly electric feedback was later overdubbed onto the dueling guitar solos that ended the song
Great reaction.. One of the most recognizable guitar riffs in rock and roll and the song has been in countless tv shows and movies over the years. Ann Wilson is a legendary female vocalist.
I have been binge watching all your reactions, after I stumbled upon this one, and I must say you are an amazing reactor. Keep it up, you can tell your genuine and honest, and sincere. Yes your an attractive young man, and I love that shirt, but your reaction to lady gaga, never love again has melted my heart.
The sisters Wilson. Love me some ❤❤!! In the 70s, we all wanted to be these badass rock chicks tearing it up in Rock!! Decades later they still perform!! This song is their proverbial 🖕to the male dominant industry. RnR hall of famers!! Love your reactions!! 👍👏
Ann Wilson wrote this song in response to a callous reporter who, inquiring about her relationship with her sister after a suggestive album cover, insinuated incest between them. Her song was a great comeback!
Ann Wilson was possibly the best female rock vocalist of her generation. And her sister Nancy was a kickass rock & roll guitar player at a time when women weren't supposed to do stuff like that.
I have been to Heart concerts since the 1970s and they are great! Have you heard *The Warning* ? They are 3 sisters from Mexico, now 20, 18, and 15 years old. Their cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman went viral in 2014 (21+ million views). They have an EP and 2 indie albums out and just signed a 5-record deal with Lava/Republic. This is Sinister Smiles, from their Queen of the Murder Scene concept album, a girl’s descent into murder and madness: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Lh2eY0pe9X0.html
"These girls can rock. They can put a show on." The original Heart knew how to put on a RnR SHOW when they had room to move: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fLF8VKvuGEk.htmlm14s
They idolized Led Zeppelin growing up. Listen to Immigrant song by Zeppelin and you'll hear this song. The 3 remaining members of Zeppelin Jimmy Page Robert Plant and John Paul Jones gave them a standing ovation with their cover of Stairway to Heaven at the Kennedy Center Honors when Led Zeppelin was being honored.
back in the day..... I was always more attracted to Nancy but..... that was mostly because Anne sorta scared the shit out of me..... way more woman than I could ever hope to handle..... I mean seriously..... if I ever met them together..... I'd hide behind Nancy and beg her to save me.
I recommend you react to "Little Queen" live at Cal Jam 2. It's funny to see Ann clapping off beat in the beginning, but you get to see what a riveting performer she was! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4QK3E7-aL0w.html
Before the invention of autotune, you had to have talent to sing .Nearly every voice prior to 2000 was pure gold . Pat Benatar for instance took operatic lessons growing up
