Excellent chase scenes filmed on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway with some familiar faces in pursuing Anglias! Episode aired 24 April 2005 Series 14 - Episode 20 All rights to the excellent ITV.
Can't be too choosy about you vintage railway film stars. You take whatever is available. Often in films set in the 19th century, the trains are 1910s or 20s. In any country, operational 19th century rolling stock is very rare & precious (well, to railfans, not to government, who'd rather scrap & burn the lot).
And that tank locomotive seen in this clip is no longer here at the North Yorkshire moors railway as of now and the locomotive is undergoing an overhaul
6619 is now at the Kent and East Sussex Railway. I believe there are plans for the loco to return it in GWR Livery, and also to remove the kychap exhaust which was fitted in 2006
@@PenisCupcakePoop I haven't either but you can deduce the context from the people driving the loco being arrested and nearly crashing into a passenger train...
They would maybe have thrown it into the sea after reaching Whitby. Joke aside. Think a bit further. Who knows if there weren't a stolen car waiting for them after the train stppped?
