Heartbreaking elimination for 'Dancing with the Stars' frontrunner l GMA 

Ally asked TWICE if she could give her spot to James. I've have seen this show since Season 5 and not ONCE have I seen anybody offer to trade their place in the finale for another competitor. 👏

i almost cry when i heard Ally said " can i give it to James" such heartbreaking....

In my mind James had this won. This whole thing is so sad. Prayers are with James, his wife and children.

Such a selfless act! I know it wasn't easy for anyone. I respect Ally for what she did and James for doing such a beautiful job in the midst of a devastating loss.

I have so much respect for Ally. For her go ask if she could trade places with James just showed how supportive and how much of a good sport she is. If I had to pick a girl to win It would be Ally.

James shouldn’t have been sent home by the judges .It was absolutely shocking From week one he’s always been consistently incredibly amazing. The judges confirmed that they look @ the entirety of the season till the week being judged . So the judges decision did not make sense @ all. Ally was being sweet but James absolutely deserved the judges’ save vote more than her,. James was a front runner from week 1. Not only was it unfair to send him home it was heartless of the judges bcoz he deserved to be in the finals more than anyone else

It's obvious America hates Ally for being such a good and kind person, she has such a kind heart, and they say she's fake and hypocritical. In the monday thing had was people unworthy of her as if she were to blame. DWTS fans literally don't know her and talk so low and rotten about her that I was really disgusted. There were some who even understood Ally, but most of them had their messages of hatred for her. They have their favorite pair from the start, they seeing Ally going on week after week, started hating her!!

James was the winner of the season . It’s heartbroken that he went home . Neither he and ally should not be in the bottom 2. They don’t deserve it . They both deserve to be in the finale. I think that Hannah should go home . Her attitude is so annoying. I should love to see James freestyle. Ally was so sweet and had the courage to leave and give her spot to James . That’s was a true champions is about. I’m rooting for ally and Sasha . I was also rooting for James and Emma . Neither one of them was going to win. Ally want to win for James and his family. Hannah and Allan would've been my pick for elimination. there dances were just mediocre nothing stood out. the final I would've liked ally and James to be there...but as it stands I am rooting for ally.

Wow my heart goes out to James and his family... I know all too well what a miscarriage feels like having gone through one myself... your heart breaks and aches horribly even if you haven’t met your child that little soul that little being growing inside you is enough and to loose a piece of you is devastating.... he shouldn’t have been in the bottom two and to suffer another lost is just so unfair.... and Alley what a class act your heart is kind and you showed human dignity... but you too deserve to be in the finals so just go out and dance your heart out dedicate it to James and make him proud bc we’re all proud of you... I do not agree that keeping the matter private is the same as sweeping it under the rug. Unfortunately, many people do not know how to respond when someone tells them something like this. To that end, I hope we all take a moment and look for that information on line....what do grief experts suggest we say or not say when offering condolences? [i know by instinct to NOT say "well, you have 5 other children"].

Judges have protected Ally for weeks. Third time in bottom two & third time saved by them. Understand new system & DWTS wanting to avoid another Bobby Bones scenario; but judges should NOT be sole determining factor by the semifinals. That's wrong. Use the combined, period. Might not have changed results but would have been more balanced.

Great dancer! A winner in every aspect of the word. Voting by calls should be eliminated.

I'm disappointed in the judges. Why do they have final say??? Whoever is the bottom of the bottom 2 needs to go home without the judges input. I quit watching years ago because they are incapable of being impartial. This method of judging sucks. And if you live on the west coast you have vote BEFORE the show even airs. That's how Spicer was able to stay so long.

I do not understand how it could have ended up where it was these two couples were the ones the judges had to pick between! Sorry, but this is what I think: I believe James may have felt that he needed to be home with his family right now and he knows how much time it takes for rehearsals. I think the judges reflected that in their decision. I mean he has been the front runner all along! He should have been at least #2 by the end. I also think Sasha is deserving of notice but is never paired with someone who is that good. So this is one way to give him the edge to winning.

I'm sorry, letting James stay out respect for their loss isn't fair to the others. His scores had been declining a bit as Ally's was steady and even increasing. Sorry for your loss James and family, praying for you, but the people spoke.

Maybe he wanted to leave the show to be with his family. Maybe he talked to producers and they staged his loss to get him to go home without pulling out at his own free will. If I was a producer there I would have suggested that. Screw the show, be with your family, that’s way more important that winning a dance competition.

I won't watch dancing with the stars any more. James was the best dancer & better than some of the pros . I also quit watching 'The Talk' because of the female judge who seems to be in charge now.

It took me 20 years to knowledge or admit the lost of my son.

I thought he would be the champion. I thought that was a very good routine. Ally and sasha are not always in sync but they always get a high score from the judges.

But he is. The one I'm rooting for!!

As heartbreaking as this for James and his wife, they have been through this before, not that it is easy...but the good news? One thing I know for sure. Those miscarried babies are all in heaven. That is the largest place in heaven where all the lost babies are, whether thru abortion or miscarriage, and the angels take care of them and give them each names.. And they can't wait until they meed their parents. It's so important to draw from faith in the Lord. It is the only thing that matters...we shall see our loved ones again if we put our faith ad trust in Jesus christ. And like Len said, "It's just a dance show" He needs to be home with his wife right now...., family is more important than who wins a dance contest. They should have the show be judged just on scores and not popularity. Look how long Spicer stayed! Ridik! And Ally deserves to be in the finals anyway. She got more perfect 10's than the others. It's sad it came down to this.
