There are a few channels doing series like this for other card games like Yu-Gi-Oh! and magic the gathering there’s so much fun to watch even if you don’t know the game is you really gets to learn about it. Always fun watching these guys mull over the cards.
I love watching Regis when he was doing a lot of hearthstone! I clicked so fast when I saw him doing something with Lorcana which I have been currently getting into.
This was a lot of fun to watch. I’d love to see what AzulGG thinks of Lorcana (he’s a top Pokemon player and streamer). Also, props to Podcana. The show has evolved so much since its earliest days. I love that each of you bring a different perspective to the game. Kawa, you were the perfect host for this sort of content and I love seeing you play well without using control decks.
Love this concept, please keep it going with others that you have connections with, either with the same cards to compare responses. Two things: you used the term Ready at one point when I think you meant dry, I think when talking about Rush. It’s a small point but could cause some confusion to people not familiar with the rules. The other question is, do you use some algorithm to identify pauses in talking to reduce the time for the video? I found that there were many cuts that seemed very unnatural when listening. I’m all for eliminating dead air, I just wanted to ask because at times it was jarring to me, but that might be due to how I choose to edit my content when I have the time to create content. Well, even without errata, a printed bad card can suddenly become better as new cards are added to the game. Not saying that'll happen to Gantu, but it's not entirely inconceivable that the stars align in the future and that his ability turns out to be exactly what's needed to deal with a particular strategy and that his cost turns into a non-issue, etc.
I made an Emerald Amethyst Beauty and the Beast deck to try out the new Rose items and Beast Wolfsbane actually feels really good. Several effects that let you move damage into Rushing out Beast was stronger than I thought. Also Inkcaster is my vote for the best Item if not the best card in set 4 (as an emerald player)
